I'd pick Nellie. ------------------ www.swirve.com "Pre-born, you're fine, pre-school, you're f*****."-George Carlin

I have to Agree I think he has Milk playing well I like what Rudy has done but who expected ANYTHING out of milk Rocket River ------------------

I think that's his own jacked up abbreviation for MILWAUKEE. I could be wrong though. ------------------ HEAD KNIGHT: We are now... no longer the Knights Who Say 'Ni'. KNIGHTS OF NI: Ni! Shh! Rudy IS a candidate, in my opinion, but I would say he's an extreme darkhorse in this race. I'd say the best chance is either Nelson, Riley, Karl, Brown, or Adelman, who WON'T win it either, but I've gained a LOT of respect for him. My money's on Riley. ------------------ Jazzkiller
Would he be considered if Miami gets swept? I thought he could be the one, but with the way they are getting blown out by Charlotte, I can't see it. ------------------ "I have no regrets except that I wasn't up to keep Randy from getting on that plane." --Ozzy Osbourne on guitarist Randy Rhodes
With the flak Rudy's gotten over the iso, there's no way he'll win it. I'll bet Nelson gets it, unless they give him the GM award. ------------------ RealGM Gafford Art Artisan Cakes
I'm pretty sure that they voted before the playoffs started. ------------------ Well that's it, the season's over. Protrolls.com! I've got message boards up and running, feel free to Troll them. Anytime now....
Before the playoffs, I thought Riley had it locked up. After the start of the playoffs, I would give it to Don Nelson. Since the voters aren't supposed to include the postseason results in their voting, I guess I'll stick with Pat Riley as my pick for COTY. ------------------ To resist is to piss in the wind, Anyone who does will end up smelling, Knowing this why do I defy, Cuz my inner voice is yelling.
I was confused over whether it was for Milwaukee or that really pasty white guy on their team, I think his name might be Pope or something. I didn't think he in particular was playing too well though ------------------ I hope, when they die, cartoon characters have to answer for their sins.
Thats just the way Popavich likes it. Very low-key. Not including the playoffs, I'd give it to Riley or Adelman, but I don't vote. Of course if you consider the playoffs then Silas(who I thought should have won it last year) is the runaway winner, his Hornets have picked apart the Heat like a ripe carcass. ------------------ Founder and President of the Houston Homers Club(HHC) - Are you a homer? It's about that time of the year. IN fact, does anyone know when the votes come in? do they wait until playoffs are over? heres my list of contenders. RUdy T- Don Nelson George Karl DOC rivers Lenny Wilkens Last year, Doc Rivers won and Orlando barely missed the playoffs(SOUND FAMILIAR?) these are my biased picks, we'll see how the rest of the league feels about it. ------------------ right on
I have it has: 1. George Karl 2. Don Nelson 3. Rudy Tomjanovich ------------------ Arkansas' Biggest Rocket Fan!
If Charlotte gives a strong showing in the 2nd round, I think Paul Silas will contend for COY too. I wouldn't necessarily vote for him, but I'm sure he'd be considered. I still feel Nellie will get it. He certainly is a viable candidate on his own, but the clincher will be the sentimental factor, since he had health problems this year. ------------------
I'm pretty sure that voting on coach of the year is done before the playoffs started, so how Silas' success in the playoffs won't be a factor. ------------------
