Why does everyone want to trade him so bad?

None of those lottery players will have near the impact Gordon will in the next few years.

    We are in win-now mode.

He is arguably the most consistent player on a team that was a few points from upsetting an all time great team.

    KEEP ERIC GORDON!

    What do you mean everybody?

I would hate to trade him for anyone other than a legit superstar.

He just fits with what we do.

EGo is only worth trading if you are getting LBJ or the like. I think Rockets are doing due diligence. Could EGo be really that unhappy here?

With his immense impact on the court and value contractually, it would be idiotic to trade him unless it's part of something much bigger.

    I think everyone knows this.

I know Eric exists. Heck, we all know he exists. Does he need more acknowledgement than that?

This thread is completely unnecessary. Nobody wants to trade EG for anything other than a legit star.

Gordon going out would create salary cap space.

It wasn’t to keep a player, it would be to take a player the Cavs want and then trade that player to the Cavs as part of a package.

His shot never showed up in the playoffs. At least he drove it against Golden State. That's why you trade him. But you don't trade him for a rookie or someone else who won't show up in the playoffs. That would be silly.

Don't think it happens unless it's for an UPGRADE

I don't think this is true. I think he should only be traded in pursuit of lebron if lebron is still considering the rockets.

i dont want to trade him but it looks like Morey won't be able to move Anderson's terrible contract.

I'm into the upside of Cash Considerations.

    He has a high ceiling.
