This. What Trump did and lied about is 1000 times less despicable than the war criminal committed by Bush's USA.

Not a big fan of Bush, and I'm really not a fan of war in general, but to this day, I still can't understand why people get so bent out of shape that the coalition didn't find more WMD's in a country larger than California. That's a LOT of area to hide stuff. I really don't think they lied; I think the intelligence was exaggerated or just plain wrong. And I think there's more WMD's there just buried under the sand. I think Bush can be faulted for the war without claiming he outright made up a story to send in the troops.

If they had it, why bury it instead of using it, when your country was invaded and your tens of thousands of people were killed like animals?

'You think ..... buried under the sand'... that stuff is your delusional excuse, for real world war criminals, very pathetic.

These are not even the worst things these President’s did during their times in office.

The worst is that the Bush administration knowingly and repeatedly lied about WMD, which led to a war that resulted in at least 250,000 dead and caused further instability in the region.

Donald Trump has purposely attempted to erode the very basic values and trusts people have in the USA and government systems. From his claims that he would possibly not accept election results as legitimate if he lost, to his attacking of the CIA and FBI and judiciary in efforts to explain away his own scandals or failings. This is a big deal.

Obama’s handling of Syria and promotion of revolution and instability in the Arab region was a disaster.

I thought it was common knowledge that there WAS a lot of weapons buried under the sand.....with surely more to be found (again......bigger than California). I seem to recall that the second Iraq war started with quite the blitz.......hardly time to dig up buried weapons scattered across the country. If you want to call me delusional and pathetic, you're more than welcome to try again. (although please note, I only mentioned the weapons themselves......not any active factories)

    https://www.nytimes.com/interactive...t/us-casualties-of-iraq-chemical-weapons.html

And yes I'm aware that one side likes to spin this as "misplaced" weapons that Iraq simply lost track of, and the other side likes to spin this as complete and total vindication for Bush. As with most things, I think the truth is in the middle.

Obama was never going to be different. The almighty dollar is the most important thing to any U.S. president (R or D) as long as our economy is propped up by military spending.

    Capitalism requires endless war.

You got to be the absolute last person defending that crap.

First the claim that a small time dictator in in the desert was close to developing nuclear weapons was asinine. It wasn't just chemical weapons.

Secondly if there were chemical weapons does that justify the lives lost, money spent, and ill will generated by that stupid ass war?

If we're talking about the underlying sins, I would say Bush's torture regime. If it's just the lies that cover them up, well for the options presented, its lying about the torture. I like Bush alright but he should have been impeached for that. Thinking more broadly about lies, this one probably takes the cake:

    George H W Bush 41st president

GWH not anything dealing with a Bush president. People's Daily has failed you again.
