I cited his lack of power when he was hitting with a lack of power.

Look at Giles ballin during non-save !!!

Eta- Walk... somewhat ballin. He can still do well overall though.

Eta again- "well" performance is now gone. Just don't blow it, MF.

Meh, Gomez somehow got to that collarbone-high fastball

Not the cleanest outing from Giles, but I honestly didn't really feel all that uneasy.

    Tejada-Berkman-Lee ('08) was the franchise's last b2b2b HR occurrence.

So you admit feeling SOME uneasiness.

    No shame in that

Post Game reported Keuchel will pitch Friday, Verlander Sunday, and Cole Monday.

    Assume McCullers will go Saturday.

Altuve's OPS is now over .900

Stros move ahead of Boston and are now in 2nd place in the AL.

Astros have to get best record over the Yankees it is tough to win there, with the rude profanity from fans, the players were scared to hit. Home Field Advatntage in the Postseason is so important.

Fun game to be at. Got my Championship ring and the back-to-back-to-back homers were electrifying

Astros are the first team in MLB to reach 50 wins. How sweet it is.

Uh...no. The fans profanity did not make them afraid to hit. And I thought comments couldn’t get any weirder.

That home field advantage certainly helped the Dodgers win the World Series. Oh wait....

He almost hit one last night in his only AB. Maybe he should’ve been in the lineup. Crazy how that logic works!

Anyways... daaaaamn fun win. Let’s do it again Friday.

Altuve, who pinch-hit in the ninth inning on Tuesday night, said getting a little break gave him a chance to regroup.

"It felt good. It's always good to sit down and think about how you feel," he said. "And I came back strong today."

Altuve, in the 2 games he played, went 6-8 with 2 doubles and 2 HRs.
White, the guy they were trying to get ABs for while resting Altuve, went 1-3 with a walk in the game he played.

Assuming you wanted to get Altuve a day of rest, it's hard to imagine any other combination of days played getting more total production as a result. That's a small sample size and backward looking, so it doesn't mean much as far as whether it was a good decision, but it is also the decision that theoretically maximized their production too (by playing each of them with the R/L split strengths)

I'm sure Pettis tells them to do it.

You need to find better windmills to tilt at.

AAAAHHHHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Have you ever heard baseball players talk to each other? Profanity does not scare them, they embrace it.
