Insane that Tunisia are tied with England right now. All the luck left the other African teams and went straight to Tunisia. They are far and away the worst African team at the tournament and yet they are the only one to score so far. (other than Mor. own goal). Some inconsistent refereeing as well as England should be up 2-1 at least with a penalty on the foul on Harry Kane off a corner kick. Same foul that the ref in the VAR room for this match....called when he was the ref on the pitch for Nigeria-Croatia. Can't let players bear hug another to the ground.

In fact, with so many lackluster performances from top teams, this opening round should have one of the more exciting finishes in recent memory. How are we feeling about Egypt today, y'all? Deliver or go home for Egypt against confident Russians, so if he's somewhat able to go, they will at least bring him off the bench. Just can't eliminate the thought that there's no way he plays and they just brought him to the World Cup to distract the opponents.
