Barbosa would be a good candidate. 27 points in his first NBA start last night.

The Rockets did not need to make room. They were already a little odd by only having a 13-man roster (with A Griff on IR), but now they only have 11 active payers and one on IR.

Anyway, point was that Ford did not need to go for Spoon to be able to play.

He stated that Ward would be signed by the rocks as soon as he is waived.

Yeah...I was hoping for something more exciting :).

Even though I like the idea of having Ward as our backup point guard.

What's about to happen? I feel a disturbance in the force--probably from CD's furrowed brow.

If Phx buyout Ward's contract, is there a rule saying that if he is picked up by other teams within 48hrs, other teams have to pay his buyout contract?

If so, ward will be signed by other teams at least 48hrs later. That could save a lot of money and sign him the minimum.

I don't see any point in waiving Ford. He is young and has some promise for the future. The Rockets didn't need to move him to activate Spoon who I think isn't going to be able to do much for us.
I don't know what the Rockets are planning next.

Why does Houston suddenly have to be a garbage dump for Manhattan? If PHX and NYC don't want you neither should we....

Of course Nets will, let Johnson go proved to be a big mistake for them. Nobody can backup Kids in Nets.

Now I am not so sure we can sign Ward. Seems a lot more teams showing interest on him. He may be going to Spurs if he wants a ring, or Nets if he want to stay in New York Metro Area.

I wish Moochie could draw the same attention so we could have traded him a lot more than Spoon.:D

If he is such a garbage, why so many teams show interest in him?

He has some value and is always a good backup PG, admit it.

Holy Moley! 4:36 left in the Knicks-Cav game, and Mooch has twice the assists and nearly twice the points Starbury has, in less than half the minutes! There's definitely a disturbance in the force...

Just what makes him better than what we have? Really think about that...

    Shooting: advantage Ward
    Defense: advantage Ward
    Experience: advantage Ward
    Speed: advantage Wilks

I've thought about.... I want Ward as our backup.
