I think he will choose either the Lakers or Rockets. Im not understanding the LeBron doesn’t want rings if he goes to the Lakers spiel. Lakers have a lot of cap space and some solid young pieces to boot. If the Lakers get both LeBron and PG13 and add it to a core that already includes Kuzma, Ingram, Randle, and Ball (yes he sucked his first year but the dude shouldnt be written off so soon, hes still young with a high basketball iq, and insanely talented) the Lakers will be as good as any team other than the Warriors. But hey...the Rockets already showed that you don’t need to be more talented to compete with the Warriors. In addition, with such young assets, the Lakers could potentially even add a third star maybe a Devin Booker if the Suns’ suck again... scary thought man and D Wade is right, he can get players to come to him.
Paul George is significantly less likely to come here than LeBron. And, if LeBron DOES choose the Lakers, then Paul George is a certifiable lock to join him.
One crappy side element to LeBron going to the Lakers is that he'll directly be competing against his best friend in the West for rings. If LeBron is winning rings, that means CP3 isn't. And of all the people in this world, LeBron probably knows best how hard CP3 has fought to win a championship in his career. Stop being selfish and come team up with your friend in Houston, LeBron!!
No team with Paul George as a number 1 or 2 option is good enough to come out of the west. Even with lebron.
Golden state warriors era doesn't provide lebron with the time for Lonzo to make a Jason Kidd-esque improvement. It took Kidd about 10 years to be an adequate shooter. Stop kidding yourself.
My prediction: Lebron to LA (because his wife and family love it there) PG13 to LA (because PG13 was from LA. However, PG13 stay a Thunder if Lebron not going to LA) CP3 stay Houston
Sign and trade CP3 at the supermax to LA for Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle, and a first and second round pick. Harden is the only guy that's been loyal to us, and if the bigwigs in the NBA don't wanna let him win anything then so be it. The NBA isn't even really a sport anymore. It's just a show. Go watch a real sport like baseball, or go get rich enough to the point where you could fire Adam Silver. I don't care either way.
Warriors beat the Rockets with a “battle of attrition”. That and the refs. We (Rockets) ran out of capable bodies. We can’t do anything about the refs.....but give me more capable bodies. We can beat the Warriors. Warriors used a handful of players just like the Rockets did. We fatigued; which help result in 23 straight missed 3’s. Warriors..................................................Rockets 1) Durant....................................................1) Harden 2) Curry......................................................2) CP3 (injured and could not complete series) 3) Klay........................................................3) Eric Gordon 4) Draymond..............................................4) Ariza 5) Livingston..............................................5) Capela 6) Looney...................................................6) Tucker 7) Bell (some minutes by mid series)......7) Gerald Green 8) Iggy (missed series)...............................8) Luc MaM (was not healthy) Give me Tyreke Evans——Mike Scott——Amir Johnson——we can beat the Warriors and would have beaten them this yr. Warriors will have Durant go for 35 million; which will push their team payroll to about $141 million. Then they have try to sign Looney, D West, Nick Young?, McCaw, Pachulia, McGee....the last two they may not want (& Nick Young).. They may have to fill up the roster with scrubs like Nick Young or Casspi (types-flawed). 1st) CP3—————Harden—————Ariza———-Tucker————Capela 2nd) E Gordon—-Tyreke Evans——Luc MaM—-Mike Scott—--Amir Johnson Reserves—————-GG———————————————————-Nene This team can beat the Warriors. I like Tyreke at 6’6”(shot 40% from 3 this yr)....allows Rockets small-ball lineup to be like: PG) Gordon SG) Harden SF) Tyreke PF) Mike Scott C) Tucker or PG) Tyreke SG) Harden SF) Ariza PF) Mike Scott C) Tucker (all 6’5” and above) or PG) Harden SG) Ariza SF) Luc MaM PF) Mike Scott C) Tucker (all 6’5” and above) I dropped CP3 from ideal Small-Ball lineup because of his height of 6’1”..but he can get some mins there too. I would take Tyreke over Gordon if we have to lose someone. Gordon is usually the bettter shooter; but I like the driving ability of Tyreke better. Let’s keep the team pretty much intact. Go Rockets!!
Lebron taking a big risk going to the Lakers thinking other stars will come. What if they don't? He is screwed for the next 5 yrs.
Why would the Lakers part with their assets when they can sign CP3 outright? Also, Randle is a free agent.
I see more people are starting to think like me. Lakers are a threat..cp3 is not a lock to be a rocket.
If you’ve followed this board for multiple years then you would’ve seen the criteria we came up with for filtering through internet insiders last year during the Melo drama. You’re breaking a few of them with this post.
CP3 is not leaving the Rockets. Geez, guys. Did you never watch his interviews after games? Interviewer: “Thanks, Chris.” CP3: (before stepping away) “Htown.”
Didn't a BARBER break Dwight Howard to the Rockets? I've got my own media company that works on special projects for a host of movie studios in Los Angeles. I have info on deals that LeBron and his people have made in the entertainment industry and wwit that information comes the answer to where he and Paul George have already chosen to play next year. Cyberx was asking if anyone can corroborate the Pete Zayas story of the 4 entertainment sources. I'm not one of those people whom Zayas heard from, but I do work in the industry and can confirm where LeBron is going. One thing is for sure, he is not going to be a Texan.
