Starks was one of the Knicks' best players and might have been on his way to the MVP had the Knicks won. Trevor is a role player.

On stats alone, you have to give this to Ariza. Zero is hard to beat. But Starks was a 19 PPG player while Ariza is an 11 point third wheel that can't create his own shot. So I can't really hate him for this. The game was never his to win on the offensive side in the first place.

Yes he was. He came within an Olajuwon fingernail of single handedly beating us in Game 6 of that series.

Starks easily had the worst and more memorable choke job...pretty much nobody really brings up Ariza’s performance in game 7

Yep. That Knicks team depended on Starks for offense, to the point where he started for them while not able to do much else other than score.

Ariza is our fourth option on offense, and while his bad shooting hurt us in that game, he played well in the other areas where we needed him to.

Starks was second team All-Defense the prior season. I wouldn't say all he could do was score.

Ariza plays defense on the best and has a ring. No comparison.

Game 7 was a team effort. Hard to pin it all on Ariza when Gordon was 2-12 and Harden was 2-13 from 3 as well.

Man I hope Ariza is never on CFs, otherwise he could use some of you guys as reasons why he should join GS(he won't but you get my point)

In Harden's defense he was hacked on two of those and that doesn't count the one that was waved off due to Fostering.
