    All this speculation is based on the assumption that he can actually play. I haven't seen any evidence of that. Apparently neither have the Spurs, Magic or any other NBA team...

    Besides, that's all we need around here are Bateer-only-fans. :D

    If Yao weren't on the Rockets, would this guy's name even be MENTIONED here? There's a reason he's not even listed on NBA.com...he sucks!

    I don't follow the Magic much, but they must have some good players at the C position to waive Bateer, right? I mean, if he's good enough to be backup for us, their backup must be pretty damn good for Bateer not to make that team.

    I don't know what's happend to him, but Bateer hustles, rebounds and power dances in the paint when he was in China.

    He's got solid build & used to outplay Yao from time to time

    shucks, bateer is my favorite "guy at the end of the bench" to root for. Whats not to like about a mongolian basketball player?

    and bateer just rolls of the tongue, like "butter" but with a speaking disorder.

    boki is my second favorite benchwarmer in the league.

    Boki should just start sitting in his own recliner with an ottoman, and a drink holder. Maybe that would give JVG a heart attack and Boki the chance to play.

    kinda like Yao tearing up the Asian Championships last fall??
    the same Yao that cant overpower 6'8" power forwards in the paint?

    no thanks..if a team that has no real centers wont use him...what the hell do we need him for?

    I remember watching the World Championships in Indy, and Bateer moved pretty well. I was kinda shocked at well he moved and shoots. I think he has or (had?) better footwork than Yao does.

    My orginal post was suppose to be sarcastic i fergot the rollies :rolleyes:, there thats better. This guys just cand make it in the NBA, im sorry but thats the truth! Theres a reason why hes being cut..
