Ryan Anderson + Nene + Eric Gordon = 35 million.

Next: Add draft picks until they say yes.

I like the idea of going after two players instead of trading it all just for LeBron anyways

This next month will be all about clearing cap space for LeBron or PG. Trade won't work for either because we'll be hard capped. I believe Ariza is gone. Unless he takes a silly vet min deal, he's making MLE+ money on the open market. Anderson, Gordon, Nene are all gone as well. You can't have Harden, CP3, Capela, and either LeBron or PG at max or near max deals without that happening first.

Then sign Tyreke to take over Gordon's spot off the bench and call it an offseason.

    Capela/vet pickup
    Tucker/vet pickup
    PG or LeBron/Green
    Harden/Evans
    CP3/vet pickup

    Thoughts?

Cavs just need to clear house.

    1. Trade Love & TT for whatever draft picks and young prospects as you can

    2. Trade Lebron to Houston for Anderson & Gordon plus however many 1st picks. I'd honestly S&T Capella, he's good but not max worthy IMO, if we could get DJ. They cant have a fire sell and collect whatever they can and try to trade Gordon at the deadline

If the cavs go full rebuild they could adsorb Anderson & Gordons contracts. I wouldnt mind getting DJ and start really developing Zhou Qi(who I think has high potential in todays game)

DJ is going to ask for the max or near it. I think Capela is more versatile defensively - even if not as good at the rim, less of a liability as a free throw shooter, and more versatile offensively when you need him to run as a roll man, on the break, or even the occasional isolation, where he’s developed a nice little hook. He’s going to keep getting better.

You really need to let go of the DJ supplanting Capela hope.

You do realize Houston's ridiculous production when all 3 are on the floor, right?

Not to mention Clint anchors Rockets switch everything defense. Switching D is not Deandre's forte and switch D is a foundation stone of killing GSW.

I hate lebron but Im just trying to think of ways to get him so we can win. I also think if we get lebron we will have a bus full of solid vets wanting to join up for cheap to dethrone the warriors

34 years old, slowing down - I don't think we need him.
