I have given up hope and will not believe that Francis is GETTING it until he strings 10 games of good PG play in a row, until that day....I will not hold my breath.

How about just put Wilks on PG, and move SF to SG? Maybe it's just best to wait and see if Francis can consistently play good PG, he's certainly capable but unwillingly.

Francis got 12 assists and scored only 1-11 FG; but we won easily because he looked for the open men and hot hands. He is surely getting it, at least after the Moochie trade.

I think his poor shooting could be due to the transition with less dribbling before shooting. It will fall and by then we shall be a great team.

UMO, we don't need a block buster trade.

Yes, that will come. You can tell he had seven TO and poor shooting tonight probably because his eyes were off the BB more often. He will be used to it and get back his 20+ points per game average.

Besides, he does not have to worry about his next huge contract. So, he does not need bump up his stat.

I don't mind his low scoring against the weak teams. With the strong team, occasional ISO will work too. And of course, when the other team read his decreasing FG%, they will loosen up against Francis. Then, he will score with authority.

I like his passing as he and Yao are currently centre of attention. So, finding the open and hot teammates is important to have the team honest.

I agree that Wilks is way better than Moochie, but let's not get too excited yet. Wilks has only had 3 games and that's not enough to make a determination on a stat such as that one .. especially considering the teams we've played.

I'm glad Francis got 12 assists but he forced a lot of bad passes. Mainly bad bounce passes to Yao that bounced no higher off the ground than around his ankles in a crowd of double teams. He had atleats 3 turnovers doing that. Then the botched alley oop to Mobley that was costly when he should of just made a fundamental pass instead of trying to make it flashy. Then the backcourt violation in the 3rd when GSW were making a run. He tried to play it off like the ball was deflected by a GSW defender when it really rolled off his leg and past the half court line. In general a lot of bad decisions that don't reflect that of a headstrong PG. I'm glad he's make the effort to get his teammates involved but I'm still not very pleased with his decision making ability. Too many unforced turnovers that could of easily been avoided. Good effort from him to play like a PG. But his decisions when to pass still need to some work.
