On www.nba.com/rockets there is an interesting article about the Houston Rocket players before they became stars. It's hard to believe that most Rocket players were shy when they were younger. I think Maurice Taylor, Cuttino Mobley, Steve Francis and Kelvin Cato looks the same know from the pictures of when they were younger. While Walt Williams, Dan Langhi, Matt Bullard, Shandon Anderson, Moochie Norris, Jason Collier and Kenny Thomas looks completely different. Carlos Rogers' baby picture was there, but there was no article on him. There was no article or picture on Hakeem Olajuwon. ------------------
LOL! Bullard's bio is hilarious. Favorite Subject in School Math for a while. Until college, I had a blind Calculus teacher and it was just way too easy to cheat on the tests. Favorite Athlete Dwight Stones because he was a white guy that could jump. Proudest Accomplishment In the sixth grade, I kissed a girl named Wendy in the basement of her house. ------------------ "So you say you want some intelligent responses? I say give me something intelligent to respond to." -- Dimwits beware, B-Ball freak tells it like it is. Sing it bro!
I guess they don't have a photo of Hakeem. ------------------ Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest player in the history of basketball. If you disagree, you are not a Rocket fan.
All the pictures and those interviews are in the Rockets Official 2000-2001 Yearbook. Maurice Taylor looks exactly like he did back then. It's amazing! ------------------ Chris Webber at the July 28, 2001 3:00 PM news conference when he announces where he will go: "It seemed tough, but with guidance from Steve Francis, I learned my true destiny. That destiny is to play for the Houston Rockets, to bring them back to championship glory. One big man is all they need, and I believe I can fill that void. Thanks to the loyal fans in Sacramento, but Houston, Texas is where I belong."
