I didn't see that game - was this as stupid as it sounds?

"After a timeout, Jason Williams inexplicably airballed an off-balance 3-pointer with
five seconds still on the clock. Rogers dribbled out the time as the demoralized Kings
    didn't even foul him."

Well, Jason was guarding Peja pretty well. Also, Hedo (I think it was) ran into somebody as Rodney turned the corner, so he couldn't get to him. Sort of like an accidental screen. My mind's sort of a blank. But, they had a chance to foul with two ticks left, and none.

It was a bad shot. It looked Jason Williams-like. I don't know if he was fouled or if the shot was blocked. Didn't look like it.

He was making a move and he slipped. He lost his balance but regained it with about 5 seconds left on the clock, but he panicked and threw up and off-balance three off one leg which hit absolutely nothing.

It really looked like he forgot they needed a three, and was about to drive, and then at the last second, he remembered they needed the three, and couldn't get his feet back under him.

Jackson played the 4th quarter until the Kings suddenly fell behind by 9 points with only a couple of minutes to go.

It was a bad shot, but it was probably a good idea to launch it with 5-6 seconds. Still gives a chance for an offensive rebound and a kick out for another attempt.

JW had a decent game. Made a sweet move by Kidd in the 4th and the Suns didn't rotate over at all.

I know C-Webb will probably leave anyways but a 1st round exit would seal it.

Esp when they blame him and his leaving
or not leaving drama as the reason they
    were upset.

OK, this quote is a little off. The play fell apart when Jason Williams slipped off the dribble. The plan, as Doug Christie stated, was to get a quick score....not jack up a three. Williams went hard off the dribble cutting to his left, slipped, and was forced to put up that shot, hurried.

They didn't fould Rogers because they couldn't. He got the airball, and ran out along the baseline, and someone tried to grab him but couldn't reach.

    Ballgame.
