Lebron put up 51 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists last night on 19/32 shooting and played 47 mins and were 1-bone headed play or missed FT away from winning Game 1. No way media knocks on him for not showing up in OT.

Lebron is in the same scenario as Harden from games 6 and 7 - not many people/if any from the media are knocking on Harden for not "showing up" going 4 allstars vs 1.

    1.) Prove it
2.) Kobe requested a trade that almost went down until the Bulls didn't want to inlclude Luol Deng
3.) Wrong. Lebron got plenty of shade and apparently people are still butthurt (such as yourself) even though he went back home and got Cleveland a ship.

    NEXT!

I don't care about 51pts. How many did he score in overtime when it counted most? I saw him doing alot of deferring to others when the game got tight, and we've all seen this before

As much as i hated LBJ making the move to Miami, especially the way he did it (the decision), there's very little comparison between what LBJ did vs what KD did.
    • Cavs/Heat never had a playoffs rivalry. OKC-GSW was a rivalry in the making after OKC went up 3-1 in the series and then lost.
    • LBJ didn't go to a 73-win team, instead went to a 47-win team.
    • LBJ didnt go to the team that knocked him out of the playoffs.
    • LBJ didnt go to the team that had just won a championship the prior year.
    • Instead, LBJ created a team that had POTENTIAL to dominate. KD went to a team that was ALREADY DOMINANT.
And you wanna talk about superteams?
    Rockets - Hakeem, Clyde, Barkley
    Rockets - Hakeem, Barkley, Pippen
    Celtics - Garnett, Pierce, Allen
Lakers - Shaq, Kobe, Malone, Payton
Lakers - Dwight, Kobe, Nash, Artest, Pau
    Bulls - Jordan, Pippen, Rodman
Nets - Joe Johnson, Garnett, Pierce, Deron Williams
    OKC - Westbook, Melo, PG13

Of course not all of those "super teams" worked out, but let's not pretend the LBJ was the pioneer for creating this "super team" driven league. So, NO... not 100% facts

Define bash? I've already gave him credit for being a goat player. Is that bashing? What I won't do is make excuses for him everytime he falls short His fans put him in a situation where even if he loses he's celebrated as if he won. You can't have it both ways

Somehow the game 7 officiating in the WCF was Lebron's fault. Also Boston beating the Sixers was caused by Lebron.

The landscape of the NBA during "The Decision" was way different. It was a 2 star duo league with Bostons big 3 basically done being a serious threat by the time LBJ was a free agent in 2010. There was no super team with massive CAP increase aligning perfectly for LBJ to join a ready made Lakers for ex. as they were coming off back to back championships. The next best option was forming a super team of his own.
The hate KD gets is the same LBJ got. LBJ became a hero by spinning the "im coming home" narrative to look like he did it for the best of his home town instead of him actually running away a second time(hated in Miami still but a hero all of a sudden to everyone else before being hated in Cleveland again this summer). Seems only people in Miami remember this clowns "not 1, not 2 not 3 not 4 not 5 not 6..." talk. That's how big that move was. NO one called him out for saying they'd win 6+ championships and only barely escaping with 2. Everyone trying to downplay the Heatles now to make KD look more snake than LBJ when KD more than likely never even does it if LBJ never does it first.

I am 100% certain if the Lakers had just won back to back and all of a sudden they keep the same team and get a full max slot, LeBron teams up with Kobe instead of going to Miami. Same thing in 2014. Miami was getting old and banged up, maybe LeBron knew of Bosh's heart issues. No where to go, but time to jump ship again. Oh Cleveland got Kyrie and couple more #1 draft picks and assets to trade for a 26ppg/12.5rpg/4.4apg beast PF that my play style and fans can marginalize into "bum" status as they did to Bosh and Wade so i can look like the sole hero? "I'm coming home." 2018. "Team sucks again. Everyone already forgotten most of it was my fault and i basically gave up playing defense half the regular season. Lauded for barely beating would be lottery teams if they were in the West and a Raptors with history of chocking. GOAT! Still...gotta go somewhere else. 65 win team in Houston where the MVP, CP3 and the coach all have a narrative of being chokers and a history not being able to get it done? PERFECT! I can go in there and they will say i carried those bums by myself. All hail the king! GOAT of Narratives!" Same if he goes to LA with PG13 and Boogie. "They couldn't win till they played with LeBron."

**** it though. If he joins us. Fine. I'm rooting for him as a Rocket as i would with KD or Green or anyone else. But, i'll be ready to back up our boys when the narrative slowly starts to creep in that LeBron has to carry a bunch of loser bums in Houston.

In a perfect world KD opts out and goes East for his own "Im coming home" to join Wall and Beal and Porter. LBJ stays in Cleveland and they do a DeAndre Jordan opt in trade with the Clippers. PG13 goes to LA to play with young small ballers. Boogie stays with AD. Kawhi works it out in SA and LaMarcus. Houston stays put. GS stays put while losing KD and starting Iggy in place of him. Knicks sign IT3 and Rondo to max contracts for our entertainment. BOOM. The NBA is fixed and the landscape is fair and the 2019 champ is a toss up between 5 teams and like 4 more that are on the come up with both Conferences equal in strength. Lets get this league back to a 2 star duo league with the very top heavy teams having that 3rd "star" be more of a super role player.
