This game just shows why its dumb to count rings when discussing GOAT legacies. Lebron is gonna lose this Finals, and there's nothing he can do about it. When you score 51 pts on 59% FG with an almost triple double and STILL LOSE? Not even MJ or Kareem or Hakeem will win with this bunch.
They are just one Kyrie/regular Allstar away......the Worriers are not that great this year for some reason. Well what a waste. With Iggy coming back soon, will seal the deal.
Jerry West lost a finals but got FMVP. GOAT should encapsulate accolades including rings. Lebron could have taken that title from MJ but his finals record is already tarnished. He is definitely more naturally talented (like TMac was).
ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? On ESPN they are talking about bad officiating, and how the Cavs should have won game 1. WTF. Everyone was happy and touching themselves in the media when the Rockets got screwed
Javie probably has an earpiece feed from whoever gives Foster his ref orders. Lebron was obviously still moving - in the replay - he moved practically around Curry to his other side. But in realtime it could easily look like a charge.
I believe they can only review the call and change between charge/block only if defender is in the restricted area. that play shouldn't have been reviewed in the first place.
I don't think I've seen Lebron play quite this One-Man-Team style before. Impressive, even if he was a little tired in OT. Did Lebron play this way all season? He's going to have to change his style if he comes to HOU.
first finals game i didnt watch in over a decade. gladly watched the stros get a W. but social media forces you to see a bunch of highlights and I'm cracking up this morning at stupidity
Lebron losing and still getting FMVP would be a nice consolation a prize. Fitting conclusion to his playoff run. And a nice F you to the Worriers
you have no idea what a charge is if you think that was one. its not even close. at no point is he even set with both feet for even a millisecond. moving you body into another player is not a charge.
nope, it showed that that LBJ's right foot was still sliding when the collision occurred. it confirmed that LBJ had not established position showed the Ref, closest to the play, who called the charge also pointed to the Ref at the baseline, who called a block indicating that he was deferring to the ref at the baseline
I'm conflicted. On the one hand, I want the Warriors to lose because **** the Warriors. On the other hand, I want LeBron to get crushed because then he might consider coming to Houston and bring us a championship.
This is what I'm rooting for. It would be such a stain on Durant's and Curry's legacy too The thing is there is only so much Lebron can do against this Warriors team.
It'll still be a 75-win season. Despite all the injuries this year, the Rockets still won 65 games and really could've had 66 if they played their starters against the Kings in the Vanilla Ice finale. You're telling me they can't add another 9 to that total with LeBron on the team if CP3 can stay a little healthier(he can still miss 15-20 games) and Harden doesn't tweak his hammy again? Unless injuries derail them, it would be a historic, record breaking season. Even the Warriors would give up on competing for a better win total by January.
