did you take into account hack a capela. that has no bearing on what the FT story really tells you about a game genius. the fact that you lack the ability to realize what impact the pts off the board and the extra opportunities given to GS still easily results in a loss is beyond me. its not rocket science. those pts taken off prevents the game from being about a 20 pts game and keeps its at within 10. theres a major difference between coming back from the two. the people that continue to just point to missing shots without regarding anything else that led to those are all too simple minded and draw into the storyline that it simply caters to show us where hou drove to the basket hooking arms in game 7? theres countless videos that have been posted that show none of that. you're sticking to this generalized statement when it doesn't even apply. dumb ball? nah thats just a dumb post. the more you post it becomes more obvious you didnt even watch the game in its entirety. so you shouldn't even be talking
On none of the non calls in question did the Rockets drive to the basket and go for the foul instead of the basket. Also, the Rockets lost by 9. If the refs call the three fouls on Harden three point shots correctly, the Rockets could’ve scored 10 points if Harden makes all the free throws. Instead they scored two, and Klay Thompson hit a corner three in transition on one of them. That’s an 11 point swing right there, which means if nothing else changed, the Rockets win by 2. That also doesn’t account for the Jordan Bell moving screen that led to the Curry three that gave them the lead. Now it’s a 14 point swing. Point is, for you to say that even if the Rockets had received those calls they still would’ve lost, is completely false. Even as bad as their 3 point shooting was, if the refs don’t create a potential 14 point swing, the game at worst is a toss up in the 4th quarter, not a 10 point Warriors’ lead.
Did you even watch the game? When did they do that? BTW, not all foul calls have the equal impact. FT counting does not tell you the whole story. And some of the FTs are the result of hack-a-Capela. WATCH THE GAME.
It doesn't work like that. You don't get to claim bad fouls in the 1st half, automatically assume the FT would have been made, and some how magically it would have added to the over all score at the end of the game. If these were bad calls in the last few minutes of the game and the score was close, then yes, you can call for a ref conspiracy. Momentum does matter. But its less important early in the game vs later in the game. We had the momentum in the 1st half. The reality is many of you already assumed the refs handed the game long before the game started. Some of you before the series even started. The fact is the refs had zero bearing on CP3 getting injured (which I believe we might have won the game with him) and our atrocious 3pt shooting.
of course the post you just responded to went over your head. just goes back to what i said originally. simple minded will always follow the simple storyline. its exactly what it caters to. try putting some actual thought into it. it'll help. but first youll have to watch the game
Absolutely hilarious to see people who did not watch the game come in and try to be "neutral fans" and talk about just FT numbers as if that says anything. Use some critical thinking
Agree. Anyone with half a brain would be able to see when the refs became desperate trying to keep GS within striking distance. Luckily for the NBA, most people commenting on the game are reading box scores only and are unable to discern reality and come up with nitwitted comments like the game was fair just because of FTA. Refs gifted warriors points and stole points from Houston until GS took the lead. At that point, GS benefited from the confidence bestowed upon them and started actually hitting shots.
