relying on injury prone players to not be injury prone is insane. it's all downhill for chris from here on. oh well i guess they figure since we can't beat the warriors just focus on putting a winning regular season product out there.
Have to resign Chris Paul - and he needs to be on a minutes restriction during the regular season ala the Spurs method of keeping their old timers fresh for the playoffs...
spurs prove you wrong. didn't know how good we could be this season, had to give it everything we had. now we know who we are. next year play paul 30 mpg and harden 33 mpg, have them both sit out ~5 games throughout the season, maybe even make up some bullshit injuries like the warriors did to get them even more rest. play the scrubs and have them ready to give you a couple minutes here and there in the playoffs.
Yall gonna think I'm a hater, but after watching how badly the league wants this GS team to be successful, I kinda feel like we should start building for 3-4 years down the road. Sign CP to the max for 3 with a player option for the 4th year and let Mbah a Moute and Ariza go (sadly). Trade whatever we can for future picks start preparing for whenever the Warriors breakup. Probably Gordon... sigh. And we were the better team this year too...
I believe that he will...I don’t think he’s getting a max if he wants a 4-5 year deal, it’s just not a justifiable decision
If Cp3 is really serious about winning he has to take a paycut. I like him but the thought of giving someone in their mid 30's who is made of glass the supermax is sickening. The dude is on the tail end of his career and has stacked up enough benjamins up to this point to last a couple of lifetimes. He has his cash, now its time to win
Weird phrasing for sure. Warmly welcome Deandre Jordan! Rockets going to field a lineup of all players with Houston related tattoos.
He has no choice. Rox would be dumb to give him anything close to a max deal. He lost all of his leverage for a max with his latest injury at the worst time.
I think the idea is to get another marquee player. I wish Paul George wasn't so set on playing for a crappy Lakers team. He'd be perfect outside of Lebron, an elite 3 and D guy.
