I'm watching the Astros...they are winning...remember Verlander pitched...Rockets win record when Verlander pitches, 5-0. Currently Astros lead 5-1 at the bottom of the ninth.

 

BREAKING NEWS!!!

First, some back story: In 2005, I was 12 years old and Tmac had led us to a 2-0 lead over Dallas. My brother and I had somehow made a broom balance itself upright, not leaning on anything, just standing up on the feathers. We didn’t do it on purpose, but it stayed up for like a week. Until, between games 2 and 3, my mom moved the broom! To this day I have blamed her for the Rockets blowing that series and losing in 7.
New development: I’m at my parents house for the holiday weekend, and to watch game 7 with my dad. Sitting on the couch watching the Astros and my mom (who says she doesn’t remember moving the broom in 05) yells at me to look at this broom! She was sweeping, got done and tried to lean against the wall by the fridge where it normally leans. But it’s not leaning against the wall fellas! Somehow the broom is once again balancing itself upright! I’m now making it my life’s calling to make sure nobody touches this freaking broom! This is as comfortable I’ve felt since CP went out. The broom has spoken, we’ll be just fine!

They have lost every time I haven't been able to watch the game. When they won game 2 I had not left the house and didn't eat until halftime. They have won every game since and tonight it continues.

This years playoffs have been weird AF.

I am 6-0 when watching in my work clothes (no rockets gear)

Mine I started when the Astros were in the playoffs and now converted it to the Rockets for their run.
