As others have said, the Rockets need to wait until the absolutely last minute before informing the media/league office of Chris Paul's availability. Don't give GSW any sort of time planning for him being in or out of the rotation. The Warriors have been playing that game all season/series, why can't the Rockets?
Limit him to 15-30 minutes depending on how effective he is and if we win game 7. He can rest for games 1 and maybe even 2.
Actually we already got murdered by 40+ in 2nd half of game 6. If we had a legit backup PG, we would not collapse like that.
If he does play I see him only playing 12 to 15 min not the normal 35min limited min might make him available for the championship if we win tomorrow
I've seen some crazy scenarios suggested if he plays regarding his minutes distribution. I doubt we see any of that. Maybe some slight modifications but nothing crazy. If he is gonna play he is gonna play.
If we could not turn the ball over so much like we did in Game 6 and the officiating is a little more even, I like our chances of winning at home whether CP3 plays or not.
I feel like there is a massive connection between CP3 not playing and us turning the ball over lots. Relying on Harden to be the primary ball handler for 44 minutes is not gonna work. We have to have CP3.
It is what it is. Sorry to be a downer but if he hasn't even tested that hamstring yet he is in no condition to help. He isn't the cp3 that we need. We have to move on and the team has to have a great plan b.
Derrick Rose is the furthest thing from that. Don’t let his little run against us fool you. Golden State would have eviscerated him.
I hate to admit it, but @basketballholic is right. If James is handling the ball 100% of the time he’s on the court, our odds are stacked against us. He makes too many mistakes trying to force things. He’s not Lebron.
