Beating the overly-confident, petulant Golden State Whiners and advancing to the Finals would be a great day in Houston sports.

For all of you "NBA is rigged" believers:

The good news is- If the Cavs wins then theirs no way the NBA would want a GS/Cleve matchup for a 4th year with Lebron getting killed.

Bad news is- the NBA would do what they can to give Lebron another championship

If Cleveland wins tonight... Rockets will definitely win game 7. Both road teams winning game 7 is highly unlikely.

Looks like Boston's dropping the ball. It's up to the Rockets to pick it up and make something happen.

The NBA absolutely wants a GSW CLE fourpeat. Think back to the Lakers Celtics in the 80’s. Ratings for that series would be much higher than a Rockets Cavs finals, even with GSW winning in a sweep. Don’t worry the officials would find a way to make it last 5-6 games.

With the East being wrapped up, I can officially go into unproductive mode till game time. It's a good thing it's Memorial Day tomorrow.

    My prediction is 102 - 95 Rockets

Both lower seeded teams winning the last 2 games of a 7 game series to go to the Finals would solidify the NBA wanting that to happen. Have to say the NBA would rather have Lebron hold the trophy at the end of the season than the Warriors again (and with Paul injured the NBA would figure the Rockets would be the best bet for that)

So both east and west go 7 games and the historically better team wins game 7 on the road in the east.

Does this mean the same happens in the west so that both Cavs and warriors overcome not being #1 seed, winning a game 7 on the road in conf finals and play each other in NBA finals AGAIN for the thousandth time?

This marketing angle has me worried for tomorrow.
