This is seriously underrated with older teams. I read somewhere that Pops actually times his timeouts right so that they expire right as a media timeout starts to get those extra minutes of rest
Don’t take what I’m about to say lightly. It’s been a grueling, grueling, series so far. These past 2 games have been all out 40+ minutes for lots of players on BOTH teams. There is a bunch of travel involved and only one off day between games. Guys are going to be tired and trying to “will” there way to a victory, on both sides. Do not underestimate the impact fresh legs can have. If luc, after being benched, comes out aggressively and plays to his regular standards. HE will be a monster. He can have such an igniting spark for this team. He is one of cp3s good friends, why he signed here for cheap, he has to be feeling emotionally interested in supporting his long time teammate. Fresh legs, could really swing some breaks our way.
Ryan Anderson's sorry a** needs to play and needs to step up big. Cant wait til the bum is off my team, but he needs to play ball tomorrow. No faith in Luc.
Much rather Iso Joe. Ryan Anderson will get abused defensively. The Warriors are salivating at the mouth waiting for Anderson to get in the game. I believe Joe can help us with his ability to create shots
Luc will make our defense even better. We can possibly see a lineup of Ariza, PJ & Luc out there. Any 3 of those guys can guard any of the GS superstars with switches. This could be key
I would have preferred Jackson to start to keep the 2 PG rotation going and leaving EGo and Green on the bench. Also, could have had Jackson play up on Curry and waste fouls if needed. Then after 3 minutes to start bring in EGo. Where Paul will be missed the most is the small ball lineup, but I think Tucker, Ariza, Green, EGo and Harden is still a nice option or Anderson, Tucker, Ariza, Ego and Harden.

Joe Cheeze and Tarik Black will be in the rotation.......in the 4th quarter with 3 minutes left and we're up 20 points.
I like this mentality, but a lot will come down to whether or not he hits open 3's and makes driving layups, because he'll have opportunities.
Why does he announce this? Shouldn’t he keep it secret so Golden State doesn’t know what to expect? Shouldn’t even say CP3 won’t play. Just call it a game time decision.
This is what I would like to see too but realistically, there’s probably a reason Joe gets zero minutes. We don’t see everything like the coaching staff do. He’s probably done for. Kinda like a few years back we wondered why not use Josh Smith, and well....... *the year after our conference finals run
