"we've got the formula" LMAO, this idiot created a thread earlier this year saying " We don't have enough to beat the warriors i'm convinced" GTFO
We don't know what happened to CP3 or if he will miss time, and if he does, how long it will be. But Iggy being injured is nowhere close to the same as CP3 being injured. Not even close. And yet we beat them twice without Iggy. Does that mean that they "don't have enough"? If Steph's knee injury earlier this season had caused him to miss the entire playoffs, everyone was saying that they wouldn't really be a threat. Do they "not have enough"? No one can predict injuries. Especially if it's to one of your main, star players. Morey has said multiple times that all you can do is put yourself in a position to be a contender and then hope that there is an element of luck for things like injuries. There are things that are outside of a team's control, especially injuries. But that is not the same thing as saying "we don't have enough" Honestly, it's pathetic we are even having this conversation. We haven't been defeated. We are winning the series for crying out loud, and only need to win one more game. If the Warriors win the next two games, then ok, then we talk about what we can do to improve and increase our depth and come back even better next season. But we have a great chance to beat one of the best teams of all time. And you won't to just assume that "we don't have enough" before we even see how the next game or two plays out?
Jinx what? The gravy is not here but I have enough to eat regardless. Jinx can't exist in this timeline. That's just science.
No amount of almost-had-it gravy is going to make this taste better. Winning is the best gravy there is.
If Harden can execute with his shots... the last two close games would be blowouts... He just needs to hit 30% instead of 0%, and we will be in good shape... ...and we do have a 3rd superstar that continues to develop (instead of a declining corpse known as Carmelo)... his name is CLINT CAPELA despite what 'holic has to say.
Can't get behind the "we did better then what people thought we would so lets just enjoy that". This was/is our year. I'm not giving up hope and it's a major let down should we come up short.
Let me buoy you with the best mic drop/ending ever from a little novel by M. Alexandre Dumas (pere) Until the day when God will deign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is contained in these two words,—‘Wait and hope.’” In all seriousness, this is really the best advice for almost anything given the inherently random nature of events.
Two words: Boston. Celtics. They're missing their best 2 players, for the entire post season, and they are also 1 game away from the Finals. If injuries determine the outcome, how do you explain that?
The Rockets won the best of 5 series with the "greatest team ever" "4 all star" Warriors. 3-2. (now win 1 more.)
