Last game was clearly not an abberation. Warriors clearly shook and struggling playing the Rockets' game this past two games. And now they're going home where they've already lost before despite throwing the kitchen sink at us. Ungodly pressure.
The big loss here is CP3's ballhandling and floor generalling. He commands defensive attention because he's CP3. But also his defense.......it'll be tough.
Our defense has been phenomenal but offense has been shitty, if we play descent offense and good ball movement even without cp3 we can finish them no doubt
I kind of like the idea of Joe Johnson playing. Luc can't make lay ups and Anderson can't shoot. Why not try and get Joe a switch so he has a little guy on him to post up? It might get you through the rest periods for Harden and slow it down a little. I feel like when Harden is out of the game and the role players are missing 3s our defense suffers in transition and we give up easier buckets.
harden definitely has that capability to will game 6 to a win. we just have to hope the mvp harden that can hit stepback 3s will show up. it's all up to harden. big pressure. show the world what that beard is made of.
Dr Xiki sez, doubtlessly uniquely among all the savants, 'CP3, stay in Houston and rehab; get ready for whenever the next game after Saturday is.' Harden is due, Luc coming back? Iso Joe time?
And the good news is that Houston hasn’t played well since game 2......well not as well as they can vs GSW’s. I can see them busting it open by hitting 3’s while playing the great defense.
the huge issue here assuming cp3 is out, is the gameplan thats gotten them the 3-2 lead will need to be adjusted accordingly to the guys who now play. cp3 is irreplaceable. theres just no question about that. you're now in game 6 against a historic team and defending champs, having to do something out of the ordinary at this point just isn't good at all. it puts questions marks all over the place that hou doesn't need this late in a series. this isn't some fake playoff pretender where hou could probably get by regardless. hou was built for this matchup. despite all the doubters saying GS has every adv so how could hou win, they've proven GS is without a doubt beatable
Dare i say it...but the CP3 question mark might be a blessing in disguise against these entitled mental midgets. Just when they started to sweat and maybe have a little doubt, and maybe start to give a little credit...now maybe they can go back to thinking it is all theirs again and they dont have to work for it. With or without CP3 I believe this rockets group will make them work...and that just might be enough to stun them and knock them out
Well to be fair I said "question mark." I didnt say if he is indeed out for both games. What I mean is whether we like it or not, a lot of this series has been predicated on the warriors just THINKING they are better, HEARING they are better, and then BELIEVING both of those without proving it the only place that you can...the court. We as fans know we are as good and can beat them, but do the warriors? If we can keep that edge...then i think that is a good thing for us.
