Good move, this is and always has been my team. In the years where we don't make the playoffs, or are just plain bad..., I don't pull for someone else, I don't even enjoy the season. The Rox are the only team for me.
The Rockets will be .....There is still a bright future because I have seen some real bad Rocket teams.
I am always for Rocket. Also, I see Rocket playing quite well, considering how fully loaded are the Western conference teams. I predict we shall have a playoff berth this season, probably the sixth seed - given Denver, Seattle and Utah will fight for the last spot. So we all have a happy 2004!
Great thread, by the way. We needed a little positivity around here. Now if we can just get this kind of reaction at the GAMES... I love the Rockets. As painful as it can sometimes be, I can't imagine greater joy cheering for any other team. The Rockets represent everything good and holy. HOW SWEET IT IS (Or someday will be )
I'm still backing the team. Its frustrating and disappointing at times... kinda like watching Hakeem decline in his last few years at the same time Barkley was getting injured. Though this is more frustration than disappointment since injuries arent involved. I'm still optimistic about the team coming together. Consistency is much needed.
everyone should be a rocket fan. you know why? its a secret that no one really knows except for an elect few. the rockets NEVER HAVE REALLY LOST! their real record is infinity-0. they just let other teams think they are winning, and other fans too. the fact is, the rockets have won every game they have ever played, even if the scorebord says otherwise.
Never even thought about giving up. Clutch City 4 Life! But they have made me want to drink a lot more recently.
It works if you work it and it won't if you don't. Count me in. No matter the record, I will still watch (or listen to Gene-o for) every single game this year. I am a Rox fan through and through and once I win the lottery, I am going to embarrass the he11 out of some people in the front row.
The Rockets Red Glare, the ..... Isn't that written about the Rockets? Still a huge fan despite JVG....
I've told myself I've had enough after so many losses, but I always come crawling back in time for the next game. Oh, and I still like JVG, though I'd prefer if we still had Rudy.
If you are not racist against Chinese or China, you must be colour confused. How many red national flags have you seen? How many Chinese are dressed in red? How many North American sport team dress in red uniforms? Red has represented good omen in Chinese and many other Asian culture for thousand years. That is not a colour for the communist China alone. In any case, this is not a political forum. Do you think Rocket is stupid enough to embody red uniform because of China?
