    Why the hell didn't anybody tell me this show was so f*ck*ng funny?!?!?! I watched the Mad TV marathon on Comedy Central yesterday...I don't know if I've ever laughed as much during a sketch comedy show. I was just rolling on the floor during the Kenny Rogers Jackass skit.

    I can't believe I haven't given this show a chance in nine years. I guess I expected it to be not funny like Mad Magazine has been since the mid 90's...

    It was horrible the first years, but the last few shows I have liked. I think it might even be better than SNL now.

    I love MadTV! My favorite skit is with Lorraine, the cough lady. Hopefully ya'll know who I'm talking about. If not, find out and I promise you'll laugh a good one.

    I used to watch Mad TV when it first started, but after the first couple of years it got stale. Maybe I need to re-visit it...

    Me too. I watched it when it first came on and I don't think I even cracked a smile. It's just so...so Fox. :rolleyes:

    If A-Train digs it, maybe I should give it another chance.

    Not that I'm an SNL fan... but keep in mind that SNL is live while MAD TV is taped... so they can try out skits and throw out the ones that suck.

    That being sad, MAD TV is funny. :)

    i thought this whole thread was sarcastic. mad tv....funny? i must be getting old bc mad tv has always been the butt of jokes to me. look up 2nd rate in the dictionary..... but yeah if you say its funny NOW then ill give it a shot. couldnt be much worse than SNL i guess. i wouldnt be sad if they canceled it but they always bounce back.

    Hey I loved it the first couple of seasons - far funnier than SNL. Then they started getting new people and the skits got "SNL'd" and became boring.

    Yep, that's what I'm saying. The last 2 episodes seemed good in comparison to SNL. Before, it always sucked to me.

    MadTV is currently much better than SNL but still not as good In Living Color in it's hay-day.

    My favorite sketch was when The Terminator was sent back 2000+ years in time to protect Jesus and kept shooting all the people trying to kill him. I was ROTFL so much my stomach cramped up. :D

    Say what you want, but I've given this show two more hours of my time that I'll never get back, and it's still attrocious.

    How anyone finds this show funny astounds me.

    OK, I've been watching this show on Comedy Central while waiting for the football to start. I must say after further review...








    It's still not funny.

    Bring back the SNL repeats PLEASE!
