Speaking of 80's music, i just went and picked up Queens Greatest Hits and Journeys Greatest Hits, so freaking awesome!
"Hearts on Fire" (the ending song) plays during the training sequence after the "Training Montage" song ends, specifically, when Rocky climbs up the mountain ("DRAAAAGOOOO!!! DRAAAAGOOOO!!!"). Don't argue with me; I know my Rocky tunes.
I wouldn't presume to know more about Rocky music than you. But wouldn't the "Training Montage" really be more of a piece of the score rather than an actual 80's song?
Good to see some Rocky IV experts in here. If I can change, and yoos can change, everybody can change. Also good to see that mc is familiar with the SWEET catalogue. They rock! Good ones. I was cleaning out some old bags from my parents attic a few weeks back and found around 20 live taped recordings of the 93 QZone radio shows from around 88-89. By the way- If any of you dig the tunes posted, The Record Rack has a whole section of 80 club mix CDs spun by DJ Wes Wallace. They're a little pricey (30- 45 dollars each) but well worth it.
Another classic one is "Cars" by Gary Numan. I am listening to the album that has "Cars" on it in "The Pleasure Principle" - good stuff.
