After four games, it's now a best-of-3 series with HCA.
It's what the Rockets have been working towards all season.

This is truly their best chance at a finals appearance.
It's time to take care of business.

on another note, I swear, the golden state warriors get away with the worst moving screens on go-ahead shot attempts than anyone else in the league. Watch the last play again and see the types of screens draymond and klay do to try to get steph a clean look. These aren't your typical "everyone does moving screens" screens. They are literally sprinting/darting into the path of our guys trying to cover steph, arms extended, arms holding. Draymond is the worst offender at this in clutch game situations because he knows that no one is going to look at him when they're focused on steph. He's literally flipped marcus smart before. But klay is just as bad here as well.

And not to bag on the refs but ... the foul call seemed pretty clearly after the buzzer. And even if it wasn't, I agree with you guys on here, that it's way less than 0.5 seconds. In this scenario again, we should just let capela act as a 5th defender to try to faceguard the pass to steph. He's doing nothing by "pressuring" livingston.

But whatever, we won. Glad steph didn't get the W after all his shimmying. His foot looked like it was on the line on that last shot btw

Dude, they scored 12 points in the 4th... they were chuckin up crap - it was great! Everytime I was nervous that they were gonna tie it up or take the lead - KD would fire up these long stupid shots... am i wrong?

I was thinking the same thing man. Those are rugby tackles to clear way for the runner. This league...

Didn't matter tbh, it's pretty much impossible to shoot a turn around in 0.5 unless they had Portland's time keepers. 0.3 is the time they give them for a shot, but that requires them to be facing forward on the catch to do in time.

I agree with you, but I also feel like the NBA is very loose about the timing. If steph made that shot, they'd "review" it and who's to say when the time "starts?" I do think objectively, there isn't any real time to do that unless facing the rim on the catch as you said, but with all those factors, I'd rather the NBA take a look at out-of-bounds last second shots ... Especially for the warriors. There's some room for off-ball contact, but the warriors seriously abuse it with draymond. Might as well just stop "setting" screens (as that would require the big to stop and plant) and just literally take your biggest strongest guy and run through guys' pathing to set up more shots. That's what these last second plays look like to me. And more and more, the NBA is letting screens move to this path. Even playing pick-up, dudes are ridiculous with this crap. Stupid draymond effect.

Anyone else remember draymond's "screen" on ariza in the 2015 wcf when he literally fell down backwards, took out ariza's legs and it led to a steph layup? Different scenario but it was still a big moment in the game and the refs swallowed their whistles because they were busy looking at steph.

    LETS GOOOO!!!

I just watched my recording. Great defense in the 4th and good enough offense to close out.

James needs to attack the basket at the end of games. If you get blocked then so be it, but it’s better than a step back 3 with 2 seconds on the clock.

Sigh...no not necessarily. I apologize. But you gotta pick a better time to say that man.

And I just want to add was the reason they were going to KD so much was because we were shutting down all their other options. We played great d on their ball movement.

at the end of the day you can discipline yourself and learn some positive self talk instead of being a whiner who brings ppl down...learn from the rockets players

The media has no idea what to say about this series, and honestly I can’t blame them. This is a freaking roller coaster.

Game 1 - Golden State is just too good.
Game 2 - Rockets might be able to play with them.
Game 3 - Nope, just unfair. Golden State is too good.
Game 4 - I have no ******* clue any more.

Houston are 15-2 when Chris Paul scores 25 or more this season including 5-0 in the Playoffs

I seriously think GS was shook in the 4th.

When they go on one of their shooting landslides in the second half, that's game. It's their stone cold stunner, their tombstone, teams don't get back up from that, but this team did, in Oakland no less.

When we came back in the 4th, they got nervous. Combined with our stifling defensive effort, their offense looked like crap.

The tremendous D by the Rockets players cannot be overstated. The Warriors were held to 12 points. 12.
