    Thanks for the back annthuyn.

You guys did misunderstand me. I was talking about the first 3 minutes. Check the time on that post. Ofcourse he finished it off wonderfully with that nice assist for a 3 I believe. Anyways Im happy for the rockets and for Wilks

Great game! I got to the game around 7:47...got the T-SHIRT! Yay...I was worried about not getting it. But I did. So yay. But at like 8:30, there weren't anymore. T-shirts were all the same size..like Extra Large. And then...everything is still overpriced! That's okay because people still buy the stuff. Lots of happy and nice people! 18 dollars well worth it. Very good event I think...hehe. Section 404...very nice seats. Well that is with my glasses on. The team seemed sort of different in the beginning without Moochie. The noisemakers were great. They should hand those out every game. Power dancers were great. Those dancing dudes...G4 team or whatever they were good. Frankie J and Baby Bash were good...they are quite short but good music! ;) There was this one guy on the 76ers..Kyle Tolbert or something..I thought he was a ballboy at first. He like missed every single shot he took in warmups, but he made like 4 treys during the game. Eric Snow..I'd still love to have him as a Rocket..but Mobley...was great and should not be traded! His contract is good too. Go Cat! WILKS! IS THE MAN! He played well..he's fast and made some nice passes. Hmm..someone said 50 Cent...I was like what about him...and supposedly he was at the game. Wilks is much better than Moochie. The game should not have even been close since they didn't have Allen Iverson. Francis still cannot dribble..but he did a decent job. Yao had 21 points but also fouled out. I thought the calls on him were ridiculous and unfair...but whatever. Mo was very off tonight but still managed to make double digits and had a lots of boards. Cato's dunks are exciting..please don't trade him! Kenny Thomas was pissed to me. He was like pushing people and staring at our guys..like Francis...don't know why. He had a good game though. Well executed event! Great everything..game was okay..we won at least! Happy New Year!

Watching Wilks play made me wonder what a good PG, like Nash or Kidd, can do to this team...

if this continues to happen : wilks come in and lead go up and then francis comes in and leads go down. My goal of francise being traded may come true! :D

    No pics. :(

They did play HEY YA by Outkast..like at the very end. I was waiting for it all night! :p

It was good to see us win. Wilkes did a good job with his passing and getting up the court quickly. Thanks for the game analysis Man.

Individual stats aside, the best way to value a player is really the point differential when they are in the game and when they are not. I'd like to see a few more games of Wilks coming in and having the Rockets lead go up or have a Rockets deficit go down.

piatkowski has been a huge disappoint for me this year...

he is missing way to many wide open shots...

cat is better than steve in SG position. If steve keeps turning overs 5 times a game, rockets have to trade him.

Just a white T-shirt that says..
2nd Annual New Year's Eve B-Ball Bash..with a Rockets logo in the center..and surrounded by a box and Polaroid and their logo..and Rockets logos and Rockets vs. 76ers December 31, 2003...Sports610Radio. Jerzees :)

Piatkowski has been great! I think he made half of his shots tonight...and he blocked Kyle Tolbert...if he can get open..he'll make the shot. I like his brief contributions...

I still think our forward positions are the weakest...some games are all right..Cato is bigger and can handle some things..but he is still an offensive liability. Mo is a good backup...both are sortof overpaid but I don't really mind anymore...and Jim Jackson has been good but he needs to make more 3's...today was okay but other games..he needs to make those open 3's. Nachbar and Padgett are fine. Terence Morris would be nice.

Ming & Nash share the same management (anything is possible) but it would be like stabbing Francis in the back if he were to pursue it with rox management or bill duffy.

In the game chat, the 12-0 run was amazing. The mod suddenly seemed to get a 12-0 out of vacumm. Great win

It seems what I predicted before the game came true. Just take a look:

    winner:Houston
    score:80
top perfomers: Yao-----lead in points with 21 to go along with 7 rebounds
Mobley-------have 20 points with 7 rebounds, player of the game
Taylor doing a good job off the bench------lead in rebounds with 8.also scored 8 points on 4-9 shooting.

PLAYER POS MIN FGM-A 3GM-A FTM-A OFF DEF TOT AST PF ST TO BS PTS
    CUTTINO MOBLEY G 41 7-13 6-9 0-0 1 6 7 4 2 2 3 0 20
    YAO MING C 34 8-15 0-0 5-6 1 6 7 2 6 1 2 1 21
    Maurice Taylor 28 4-9 0-0 0-3 4 4 8 2 5 2 5 1 8

    loser:philly____
    score:72
top performer:Iverson. (who didn't play by the way)

deciding factor:rebounding( houston had 50 while sixers had 41)

happy new year to all the fans!

    ACCURACY: 95%

    This can't be underscored enough!

    Mobley 20 (6-9 3ptrs)
    Francis 15,5,5
    Yao 21 and 7

FINALLY our top 3 players, Yao, Francis and Mobley ALL have a solid night. To be honest, this is the kind of performance we should be getting out of ALL THREE EVERY NIGHT.

    EVERY NIGHT.

The teams best players, the star players, have to be consistant everynight for the team to win and to go to the next level. If we do this, along with a few role players playing well each night then we will win a ton of games.

The big problem recently is that Yao AND Francis have not been stepping up to the level they should be. Mobley has been fairly consistant with his play. If all 3 get consistant then this team will be in good shape.
