Well, I'm not sure a "B+" game is going to be good enough to get us a win at Oracle arena and to a game 7. When the Warriors roll, they don't check our grades first to see how we're doing. They just smother you to death with a barrage of points and defense.
I think it's important that everyone realize that, assuming we do win game 4, we can score a free Los Doritos Locos taco at Taco Bell. (There is another, uglier way to get the taco.)
If they don't win, season is over. No way in hell they are beating Warriors 3 games in a row. So must win for Rockets
I like want to believe and sometimes I feel like I do believe but then I don't believe so much when things go crazy and then I go crazy and I'm looking for that belief and it's there but that belief needs some decent stats behind it and those stats just go south for the winter and I just don't know what to believe then even though I really do want to believe. So, I believe I will keep working on my believing. I'm on the fringe of something...a psych ward check-in maybe. Damn, I love the Rockets and what they are trying to do. Damn the inconsistency, though! Damn. #BeBest!
U misunderstood I'm not saying we wont play our A game. I'm talking bout both teams A game at the same time
Yes Rockets came into game 3 like Game one. Low energy and with same result of missed layups and poor outside shooting; which turned into fast breaks. Warriors had 11 steals and Rockets 19 turnovers (was the end game). Rockets controlled Curry from 3 by protecting him from stepping left and launching in games 1 & 2.....but the Warriors used screens to free up Curry from deep. Continue to favor Curry shooting after drifting left. Let him drive right. Less damage with 2’s over his getting hot from 3’s. Just my humble opinion. Go Rockets. P.S. Iggy out is huge. Take advantage of his lack of defensive presence on Harden. Edited: Curry went 1-6 from 3 in his 7 attempts from 3 in the first half of game 3. Curry went 4 out of 5 from 3 in the second half. All-in-all Curry went 5 (3PM) out of 12 (3PA) for the game.
When the Warriors get up by 8 or 10 points, their offense opens up a lot. Curry starts jacking up 30 foot shots, Klay, KD, etc. start taking more risks. Suddenly 10 becomes 40. Its too much pressure to play under for the team, and I am not sure that they will fend it off any better tomorrow than they did yesterday.
I'm not sure I'm wanting that at the same time. I would prefer just having it on our side. It would be quite the 'Clash of the Titans', though!
Well I'll tell you that game 4 basically decides if this series goes to 7 or if Rockets doesn't stand a chance unless they add Lebron this off-season.
I'm not really a believer kid of guy. To the extent I believe in something... it's numbers, data and analytics. So my belief here is enormously tempered by a ton of these types of analytics. Like the fact that GSW are 26-4 over their last 30 playoff games and would have to go 1-3 the rest of the way to lose this series.
I believe that the NBA has a vested interest in having the Rockets win game 4 because if they lose, there's no more interest in the series as it's effectively over. As such, I would expect the Rockets to win tonight. The league wants at least 6 games.
