Really? You're gonna make that completely inaccurate statement? The Rockets have been switching so that Curry has to defend, Harden, CP3, Gordon, etc. Harden's defense was a joke in game 3.

If we are being realistic...luc looks bad, REAL bad. Capela has been marginalized...his only real shot blocking opportunities have been when the guy he defends drives and he catches them from behind with his length. And honestly, cp3 has looked pretty bad himself.

Finally, realistically, the warriors have a lot of length...more than us. We gotta play perfect. I think we can...but one game at a time.

During last night's ECF, JVF even bashed the media for giving Curry the excuse of being injured or not 100% every time he had bad games, he said media never did the same thing to Harden.

Reggie is the worst. I thought he was done this year after last series, unfortunately that is not the case.

Harden had poor defensive effort when we were down 20 .. I'll give y'all that .

But his defense overall this year and through the playoffs has been 100 percent fine . He's been average to above average .

He's exceptional in the post .

There was the thread saying that Harden was close to Dream, but the newbs discounted the DEFENSE factor
I realize today's game is skewed to the offense, but your best player has to play SOME DEFENSE

Obviously if you combine Ariza and Capella together , they still can't be the defensive monster Dream was.

If Harden shows that he's willing to play D, which he has, the team will follow. He's the leader.

    ... questionable for g4?

Harden gave great effort after losing g2 in the series against Utah. He struggled late in that series and I always wondered if it’s because of energy spent on defense. He might have dial it down this series thinking he needs to converse more for his offensive game. He needs to both believe they can still win this series and that his defense is more valuable than his offense.

Cherry picked stats are cherry picked.

    James Harden 2018 Playoffs
0.939 opponent points per possession (or 3rd on the Rockets behind Ariza 0.915 and Clint 0.934)

OF COURSE his stats look over 3 games, 1 of which we got blown out by 40.... Slightly bigger picture?

For the record, Chef Curry over the playoffs
    0.942 opponents points per possession

ESPN to tweet those stats? or...?

I can't agree with this, ironically.

He was getting blown by and crossed over by everyone last game. I'm thinking that he had given up.

I expect him to bounce back tonight.

Just saying like i said yesterday in another thread, how can he play the defense he's playing tonight (like in game 3 against the Jazz) and than play the defense he played in game 3 two days ago? I'm seeing a totally different player out there in this game...

His defense has been incredible tonight . His overall effort level has been incredible . He had a dominant stretch for about 5-6 minutes that was just fantastic .
