Klay and Steph reduced to jacking up rushed threes with no rhythm, because they know if they pass the ball around they'll never see it again lol.

MDA deserves sooo much credit for this. He was hammered by the media for openly stating that he's sticking with the same defense for Durant. He stuck to his word, and we now see why he had this game plan.

Also.....amazing what happens when Ariza isn't whistled for 3 absolutely horrible fouls. Words can't describe my boner for Ariza's defense tonight.

    Yup.

At this point make it a point to make life miserable for Curry and Thompson.

Also, sweep the leg when given a chance.

It's the only choice you have.

Durant isn't gonna create shots for teammates by playmaking. Just keep a long player on him and make it as tough as possible. He's still gonna go off most of the time, but there's no alternative. When they start whipping it around and getting that shooting machine going is when you are f**ked.

Harden was ISO'd up on KD a lot and did a fairly decent job tonight, want to check the stats, but he at least made him miss one.

    so much went right tonight.

speeding up the pace was huge. the passing and cutting lead to easier shots, so the role players shot better. ariza playing 10 more minutes on KD was huge. tucker, gordon, ariza making an effort to attack on offense was huge.

all of these things are within our control to do again and again. the warriors can't take those things away, except for us making shots. if we have an off night, or if they have a hot night will be the determining factor from here on out.

That's not realistic on the road. Klay, Steph, etc. will play better at home. Fact is we *need* our extras to come up big. And we *need* some unlikely, high-difficulty shots to go in for us and miss for them. Today we had EG hit a high-difficulty shot vs. Green, Harden did the same, etc. We HAVE to have those, and GSW has to miss theirs (which they did tonight). Next game will be huge because there's the potential of swinging the tenor of the series, and if we can somehow pull it out, we will officially have a serious chance of winning.

If Ariza doesn't play with foul trouble at Oracle, then something is really wrong or something is really right.

but I feel like Harden also bricked a lot of gimme threes. It will even out.

We need to stick to Curry and Klay, when they dont get the ball they have zero rhythm.

Durant can iso all day for all I care for 2 points.

YES YES!!! let's do to them what Dallas used to do to us. Let Yao or Tracy score all they want while they balance attack us.

LMaM did the best at defending Durant during the regular season, but he's still recovering from his shoulder injury. If we have Luc's & PJ's defense, we stand the best chance of winning.

Ya hopefully he has an off night or 2 at some point. The rest of their offense doesn't seem to work against our switching defense. Will be interesting if we force them into playing more and more iso. Kd is great at it but the rest not so much.

I am a bit worried about our stamina. Looks like we are now going with a 7-man rotation. Our guys gotta be exhausted.
