    87-62, 8:42 left in fourth.

    What IS IT with Miami?

    I say SWEEEEEEEEEP, baby.

The reason I like the bugz so much is I think OT deserves a second ring.

"It seemed tough, but with guidance from Steve Francis, I learned my true destiny. That destiny is to play for the Houston Rockets, to bring them back to championship glory. One big man is all they need, and I believe I can fill that void. Thanks to the loyal fans in Sacramento, but Houston, Texas is where I belong."

What is the deal with the Heat, surely the injury problems with Hardaway is not that much of a problem, but man he got so burned by Davis and Wesley.

Looks like the Heat will become ChokeCity II, but will they be re-named?

Hornets have been the most entertaining team to watch so far in the playoffs, bar none.

definitely Crisco. I've only watched two complete games, and both of them were the CHA/MIA games. Davis rocks.

    The Heat look so sloooooowww.

They cannot run with the Hornets, if they allow the Bugs to dictate the pace, its all over for the Heat.

I think there's a few things going on, Smegman.

    1. Hardaway is that important to the Heat. He's their only guy who can run an offense versus a playoff-caliber defense. Charlotte knows he's wounded, so they're showing no mercy.

    2. Charlotte's underachieved all season long. Their slipping to #6 makes getting the 3rd seed a booby prize for Miami.

    3. Specifically, Charlotte has some big matchup advantages, since they're faster in the backcourt AND bigger in the frontcourt -- & how many teams in the East can say the latter regarding Miami? The Heat, IMHO, would be in better shape if they were playing MIL, PHI, NY, or TOR.

    4. Even more specifically, Elden Campbell and PJ Brown seem to doing a good job of keeping Zo under control. (Campbell gets ripped a lot for seeming lazy, but he's actually a very good defender in the low post.)

    5. Chemistry matters. Zo only played the last dozen or so games, and I don't think the trio of Zo, Hardaway, and Eddie Jones had played together even once before the playoffs. So they're beat up and out of sync to begin with, and CHA is just making it obvious.

I told my friend Charlotte would beat them. I just had a gut feeling. I thought to myself, which team is being given the least chance of winning? Charlotte, without a doubt. The media was giving the 8 seeds more of a chance than Charlotte.

I always gotta go with the underdog....

Maybe, but if the Heat can dictate the pace of the game and play Heatball - which is ugly, physical basketball. They can take two from the Bugs in Charlotte if they control the pace of the game and in Game 5, anything can happen.

Of course with the way the Hornets guards are dominating the Heeat backcourt, that doesn't seem likely.

This is such a funny series. Hornets punking them twice on the road.

I'm rooting hard for Charlotte go as far as possible, especially since they're trying to relocate.

As for Miami, what an absolute embarassment! No excuses for that team. They are the biggest goats in the playoffs so far (not named Vince Carter).

Things just get better and better for the Heat.

    Hardaway's gone for the series.

    Can you say sweep?

Actually, that might help the heat [IMG] Hardaway has been playing horribly, and has been abused by the quicker Hornet guards. The Heats backup guards can play much better defense on the Hornets backcourt. Of course Anthony Carter can't shoot though, so the already horrible Miami offense will have to dig deep to find another scorer. Maybe Eddie House can provide that spark.

I feel glad for the Charlotte fans. They deserved this amidst all the relocating talk. The Hornets just want it more, and I see no reason why they shouldn't sweep Friday night.

    GO HORNETS!!!

Do you think Riley will make major roster changes if they can't make it past Charlotte?

No, they never got the team they envisioned before the beginning of the season on the court at the same time very much. I'm sure they would like to see how Hardaway/Jones/Mason/Grant/Zo would do for a whole season.

    Hmm...84-65.

I can't wait to see the Hornets and Bucks in action.

Baron and David vs. Sammy and Ray

I'd rather see this than a lot of the other games on NBC.

They're making a small run, but it's a bit too late. A minute left and it's a twelve point game.
