This was the worst performance of Steve's career. 3-11 FG, 2-4 FT, 4 TO, 4 PF.

    Damn, were you right.

Steve played like absolute crap. Studying videotape? WTF? "Scarface" doesn't count.

We've read & heard enough of this "GET IT" stuff from him! I can see why more and more people starting losing patience with him, but I'm still waiting for him to finally "GET IT" on the court:D

After to-nights game I think JVG needs to keep taking Steve to the Movies for a very long time.
The Cat needs to be there as well!

I was watching Sports Center and they had a segment about Francis. They mentioned a number of things this article did. Such as how he admitted he used to look at his stats during the game but now doesn't so much anymore, and they said he is averaging 7 assists this season. They said his team mentality is really good this season.

Great....another loss....by 1 point. They sure know how to spoil my mornings.

I saw that too. ESPN. They made funny faces when the added that he was "old".

There was another funny line in that show that I've forgotten now. But it was really good.

hopefully JVG can add to steve's non-existent basketball IQ. he is a gifted athlete, and has a lot of heart, but no basketball IQ. if he did, he would be the 6'3 version of king james. i see improvements, but much slower than i expected. i still have hope that steve will give into JVGs system and learn to be a great basketball player. i still believe the sky's the limit, but he just has to learn to play basketball.

I think Steve needs to try to be consistent in ALL aspects of his game. Like when he has good scoring nights and the team loses, then he either hogs the ball and takes critical shots in front of the defenders face and creates more TO's. When he tries to focus on getting a higher assist/turnover ratio, he either becomes to passive with the ball or takes a longer time deciding on taking an open shot and he either passes it up or hesitates to take it throwing his concentration off. That carries over sometimes on his foul shots as well. In 2004, he has better make some stride of just playing regular basketball instead of letting just any PG light him up for 20-30 points every 5 nights and not getting back on D.

The only light he's seeing at the end of the tape is the view of the New Year's ball dropping down on the corner of his right eye.
