Me too. But he did give us hope that he might become a sharp shooter we needed so desperately at that time. A mobile 6'9 guy who could shoot the 3 was promising. He did develop into a decent backup player. I remember reading somewhere that he was the best thing we got out of the Hakeem trade. Also, him joining the team the same year Yao did was also memorable.
Still my favorite piece of sports memorabilia, my Boki bobblehead complete with piece of torn purple jersey in his hand. He was a good guy, fun to watch eventho he wasn't terribly good at much.
Liked his attitude against Malone but our team would have been so much better if we had just drafted Tayshaun Prince. Of course, Prince was never in consideration- on draft night 2002, the commentator said we were choosing between Boki and Qyntel Woods. So even though we missed out on Prince, we also could have done worse.
