What Will Be the Main Reasons for the Rockets to Defeat the Warriors?

It the Rockets score more points than the Warriors each game we should get the series victory.

 

The calculus as the media have described it is clearly against us. The areas where they could be extremely wrong include:

A.) Our defense is much better than they give credit for.
B.) Their defense is not as good as they give credit for. Iggy and Livingston show their age while Zaza Looney Bell and McGee contribute little.
C.) Capela continues his Neo-like awakening. Not only does he lock down the paint and perimeter when they try to switch him onto a guard (like he did to Mitchell) but his offensive game also improves. He takes Curry to town when he gets switched onto the little man, and he showcases passing ability that we saw flashes of in the regular season.
D.) Tuckwagon neutralizes Hampton 5. New Orleans had zero players between 6’5 and 6’9 and we have five, plus Gordon and Green at 6’4. GSW has never faced wing depth like we have.
E.) Ryno contributes...something? In the WCF.

Any of these offers the Rockets enough wiggle room to hope for success against GSW.

If Splash Gordon comes back and leaves Bricky Gordon at home then this series is a wrap for the Rockets. James Paul and Capela can combine for 75-80 points every game but we desperately need Gordon to be in that 16-19 point range every game against the Warriors.

I think it is between defense (permiter and in the paint) and 48 minutes of elite PG play (two elite PGs at times)

OTHER:
DMtheGM being saved from himself is the reason we take the series in 6 and then the championship. This the best TEAM! The right coach => players are responding to him / them. We are in a perfect storm because of what didn’t happen in the offseason. The players that we didn’t get are all at home. The players we needed were signed and production is at an all time high because of it. Thank God for “plan C & D” & a GM that can make the right moves or do nothing when needed. Championship START to be won in the off season. Thank you DM.
