What I am saying is we have a very talented team. What we need is for the players to gel together and we can be a very feared team. i think JVG needs to rip some a$$ and give these players some roles and make sure they dont step out of their roles. Discipline will cure all of or problems

That is exacly what I am saying. In order for Yao to get these calls he needs to prove he is in the same class as a Dream. He needs to develop some kind of game. He needs to play like he is 7'6" and play with some emotion. If he where to get a fire under him I think the whole team would feel the burn and get things in order.

Everyone "CRYING" for trades are the same eratic/inconsistent fans who were CRYING for Rudy to be fired. It takes time to build a champion. I agree there needs to be change, but every single time the Rockets lose there is an Idiotic trade proposal. Why do you people always post those "Change in team outlook stats"??? That doesn't make any sense. Just b/c they average a certain amount on one team doesn't mean they will be the same on another team/system. For Example, Scottie Pippen....enough said. Or how about Shanden Anderson who was a decent player in Utah and sucked here.

If you make a trade just to make a trade then you are going to hurt the team. I'm sure the Rox are out there looking to make a deal, but just because a deal is good for the Rox doesnt mean the other team is going to bite. If you get too anxious to make a deal .. there will be very bad long term implications. Be patient on the trade front .. I'm sure the Rox are trying to work something out, and if nothing works then we are better with what we've got.

First of all, there are far more people now proposing trades than there were people proposing to fire Rudy. As I recall many people actually defended Rudy and the board was pretty much 60 - 40. Secondly, if trades aren't to change a team's outlook then why are there any trade at all? Hey, if you're so sure that a trade won't even have the remote chance of improving a team then there would NEVER be a trade by ANY team. This team is not working and quite frankly we're one Yao Ming knee injury from deteriorating into a lousy team again. Whichever happens first of course, either Yao gets injured or Steve loses his athletic abilities. Pick your poison.

As I said in the previous post, if we're SO sure a trade won't improve a team, there won't be any trades at all. To start, this team simply does not compatible together. We can't POSSIBLY lose any chemistry if we pulled the trigger because they DIDN'T have any chemistry to start with. It'll be like we're actually improving it when we make a trade. I understand that other teams wouldn't just give you decent players but quite frankly at this point I'm satisfied with solid role players and young players with potential and heart. Which is not hard to accomplish and which, although won't put us in contention right away, will look pretty good say, 3 years down the road. We basically needed to start the rebuilding process 2 years ago, since that didn't happen, we're stuck in limbo here and now.
