I hadn't had my daily Kellerman thread. It's like greasy cheap Church's Chicken, it just clogs up the garm
Max Kellerman's point on 48 minutes of ELITE point guard play is right on the spot. Most other national media are ignoring this simple fact. Elite play makers greatly elevate teammates' game. On the other hand, Warriors best play maker is Green. He is not near the level of Harden and Paul. This can be Warriors' down fall.
Somebody wrote that for him He's a boxing analyst who's on a show everyday about every sport It's completely scripted TNT is better, nobody told Charles to say that he wants to punch Draymond
Basically Harden has to be play perfect, every second of every game for the Roxs to even be in the conversation - signed every reporter everywhere
Yeah, he's been saying that all year. And it's true. The Rockets have an elite playmaker on the floor at all times. Their turnovers(or lack thereof) have been very impressive thus far in the postseason. Another thing that I think everyone in the media seems to be ignoring(or inexplicably unaware of) is how good the Rockets have been defensively. Capela has become a beast in the paint. And they have various "death lineups" of their own with PJ at the 5.
TNT maybe unscripted. But Chuck/Kenny are no better analysts than Max Kellerman. Like Chuck kept saying Harden/Paul would have to guard against better players in Curry/Thompson. He forgot Harden is the MVP.
It's remarkable how few times I'm heard media say this at any time this year. I'm to the point where I don't even think any of the media analysts are actually aware that we play the vaunted MDA, PnR-ball for 48 minutes with two HOF point guards. Because this (along with requisite elite defense) are the main advantages the Rockets have over any other teams who have hopes of beating GSW. This IS the Rockets story, when contrasting the two teams.
I want to see Curry get PnR to death onto Harden. Curry's defense is Warriors' weakest link. In the playoffs where teams have time to game plan for each other, a team is only as good as its weakest link.
