    You can say that the playoffs are different if your a 30 win team and beat a 65 win team 3 out of 4 times because of circumstances. That usually don't apply when you have 2 teams that are capable of 60+ wins.

    That small lineup makes me nervous if Capela is somehow marginalized by the GS game plan. I can see Green being a pain in the butt as usual and having to play our Green in a smaller lineup. The only upside would be saving a ton of money on his next contract. Ball movement is going to be more important to mix up our looks this series. And hopefully we close out and don't take games off defensively.

    Im not sure what Rember means.

    However in regards to other thoughts, both sides are correct. For Houston, playoffs is no different than regular season. For the Warriors, its very different.

    However what OP forgets is Harden always comes down with the Playoff Flu. Super contagious and runs rampant in Houston this time of the year.

    I am not trying to spread the negativity. But I don't think we ever played with their death line up this season, did we? James / CP3's ISO ball will work in any series, but I am not sure if it will work on the Warriors. Definitely need some change if it doesn't. Hopefully, our team prepare for that. Go Rockets Go, please knock out those ladies!

    All you doubters are driving me nuts. The Rockets might be the underdog, but this series IS going to be competitive and we DO have a real shot at this.

    Harden == Durant
    CP3 == Curry
    Capela == That filthy piece of donkey-looking trash
    EG == Klay on offense, worse on defense
    Our depth >> their depth

    We have the pieces to match up, we have the system and the coaching, and we have HCA. This is doable. It won't be easy. If we win, it'll probably be a hard-fought 6-7 game series. But it is POSSIBLE. Stop counting our defeats before they've happened. If the Astros can beat a California mega-budget superteam, the Rockets can find a way to do it too.

    Believe!

    At the start of the season people have been saying the west and possibly the whole league would come down to the Rockets and Warriors. It wasn't like either team treated those games as just the same as anyother regular season game.

    Rockets are 2-0 with Durant in the lineup. The game the Rockets lost to them this year, Durant wasn't playing (neither was Harden). In the 2 games against the Rockets, he averaged only 23 ppg (below his 26 ppg season avg).

    Also while watching the GSW/NOLA game, it's amazing how underrated the Rockets are defensively. There have been several plays that i've seen GSW score at ease, that would be the exact opposite against Houston.

    The amount of switching/help defense the rockets play with on the defensive end - it'll be a MUCH closer series than anyone outside of Houston is expecting..

    Problem is ****ing Ryan anderson. He was such a deadly weapon, and same with EGO. Been no shows.

    Rockets have been lackadaisical at times this playoffs. The Warriors POUNCE on that and build huge leads. Just look at the 3rd quarter tonight.

    Point is, you gotta play 48 full minutes of high effort basketball (and hit threes of course). And honestly, the Rockets have not strung together that kind of FULL game all playoffs...

    We can do this!!! We need four games like the Utah game 3 defense and offense.

    I believe!!!!

    Gordon isn't equal to Klay on offense. Have you seen Gordon play this postseason?

    I think more about this:

    Rockets have HCA
    Rockets play better on the road
    Rockets haven't lost b2b games since January

    Those things speak more to me than the 2-1 at this point, although that should give confidence to our team that they can get it done.

    Here is the problem. The Rockets are limping into the finals while the Warriors are flying in. GS is playing some of their best basketball of the year. The Rockets have been struggling. Problem two: iso ball will not work against GS. However, if we muster the defensive intensity that we displayed in some of the playoff games thus far, that will certainly give us a chance. Those complete games of mid-season are a distant memory. That is what worries the most. Some key parts of our great season just aren't cooking. Gordan is in a serious funk. Harden has had several "where be my head" games. Ariza has made only cameo appearances and Moute has been largely awful. Ryno isn't even playing. The bench is non-existent with the exception of Green. Can the Rockets flip a switch? Maybe.

    2018 Rockets are the BEST team Warriors have seen since '15.

    Let's see what happens......

    They were lackadaisical against 2 teams in which they were 8-0 against in the regular season, and 8-2 in the playoffs.

    I'm pretty sure a lackadaisical mindset is something we definitely won't be seeing against GSW. They know exactly what's at stake and against who they're going up against.

    It's been ingrained into their mindset - that they're obsessed with beating GSW, and i'm very optimistic that if they lose against GSW, it won't be because of their lackadaisical play.

    After GSW's game 5 win tonight, both the Rockets and GSW will go into WCF with an 8-2 playoffs record. And we can all agree that the Rockets went up against tougher teams than GSW. So i don't get how the Rockets are "limping in" while GSW are "playing the best bball of the year".

    pretty much everyone has to hit their prime on the Rockets team for us to win. I'm not sure how exactly we are suppose to revive the corpses of Ryno and EG.

    Moute is still getting back into the groove after the injury, I'm not too worried.
