I think Rudy would be a great GM. I love many of the moves he made while coach. I've never seen a coach pull so much great talent out of the 2nd round and CBA as Rudy did. I never was a big fan of his coaching, but as a scout and team builder he was tops as far as I was concerned.
I have more confidence in picking a member of this board to GM the rockets, than in Les choosing another GM.
They should hire somebody from 97.9 the box, after having "extensive" tryouts. (this was a humourous reference to the still horrible PA announcer... the board is so sensitive now, we've all gotta explain the humor.)
Well, Denver has passed Houston in rebuilding. They are 3 games ahead of Houston. It will probably remain that way for the rest of the season. Wonderful organization that Denver has. Congratulations, Nuggets.
We had the same hopes for Moochie, and had most the league laughing at us then. but now.... o wait.... damnit
There hasn't been one decent response to this question on this thread. Just proves that CD is the best man for the job until Jerry West or Red Auerbach comes along. Hey, Kareem's looking for a job in the NBA. CD's record as GM compares favorably to all the gm's currently on the job.
