ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Jazz 5/6/2018 (Playoffs Round 2, Game 4)

Since he was fouled twice and no call...think he thought maybe a flop would get a call being that it has been called all night...I mean flops where the Rocket defender ia a FOOT away.

 

I'm okay with these refs.

This is child's play compared to the free whistles the Warriors will get if they play the Rockets in the WCF.

This is good practice for that moment.

We took the refs bullshit and fought back and kept a 10-point lead into halftime.

 

The flops kept us from blowing it open. Proud of the guys for holding their ground in a hostile environment. Now come out strong in the third so fourth is a moot point!

 

Going to have to come out strong in the 2nd half to put the refs away.

 

One thing i never understand about the nba basketball is how the game is being called in the playoffs, like, teams play better defense in general, the game gets more physical and refs on paper at least, they call less marginal contacts etc...but why do they still reward so much flopping? That's a thing i will never understand...

 

I don't like Harden on Mitchell. They're trying to exploit his slow foot speed.

Rockets needs come out with a championship mentality and play through these trash calls in the 2nd half and bring it back to houston and wrap it up. **** these refs tho

Why you say that?

 

Harden has always defended better against forwards than against guards. He's strong and has good post fundamentals, but he doesn't have the lateral quickness against smaller players.

 

I'm not the dude to come on here and b**** about refs, but something needs to be sent to the league by us on that second quarter. It borderlines on ineptitude. Home cooking I get, but that was an absolute disgrace. How we are up 10 at half playing against the Jazz, that crowd, and the refs I'll never know. What a team...
