Harden wasn't the problem in game 2. Except for Capela, nearly everyone else needed to be better. Harden could have been better, but he wasn't the difference. Ariza, Gordon, Anderson, Green, Mbah a Moute, Nene - these guys gave little to nothing in game 2.
I'm not saying Harden was the problem in Game 2... I'm saying that if the team leader and MVP is out enjoying himself after an easy Game 1 win then don't you think the rest of the team took the same mindset going into Game 2?? Merely reporting what I saw Sunday night after the game. Not trying to persuade people to think one way or the other about things.
Hangovers sure know how to step up during the playoffs. No-show during the regular season and then take over in the playoffs.
I have no problem with them enjoying themselves after a win. Are they under arrest or something? I do have a problem with them coming in with a lazy attitude in game 2. You guys ever have a late night out to celebrate something and still show up to work the next day? It's really no different here. He even got a day between to recover. The Rockets' poor start in Game 2 has little to do with a celebratory hookah. It has a lot to do with their tendency to coast.

I can't tell if you are being serious. Hookah is just tobacco, it doesn't give you any psychedelic effects or hangover. Would you be mad if smoked a cigar? People literally just smoke hookah and drink a coffee and chat, it's like going to a coffee shop. I have no idea what you are implying with the thread
Hookah does kind of screw with you for a day or so, particularly if you're smoking heavily. Not as bad as a hangover. I still don't think it explains game 2.

A lot of ppl seem to be confused in this thread. Hookah is a type of pipe LOL. The bowl is often filled with tobacco with fruit flavor. Yes, ppl put weed too but it’s mostly used for tobacco. Either way, it’s pretty much a non story. The rockets as a team have to play better... Regardless if Harden went to a Hookah bar or McDonald’s after the game.
