losing isn’t but shooting 27% while giving up 46% is.

Rockets need to get their shxt together and treat each game like a game 7! if we don't get out this round, we'll be the laughing stock for ages....

this is a huge loss. utah is a tough place to win. they have confidence they can win this series now. our shooting has been pathetic in the playoffs aside from the 50 point quarter. don't expect guys to start knocking down shots in salt lake. the jazz made a big adjustment with gobert. he is not switching onto guards anymore and just camping out in the paint. we are struggling to finish inside with him there, AND we aren't making threes.
you guys don't seem to realize what is happening and how awful this team has looked for months just because they continued to win games.

the rockets are failing the EYE TEST. you guys are out of your mind if you think this play has any chance against the warriors

Everything coach Nick from bbalbreakdown and Kobe says to improve on Utah did. Maybe they watched those videos o_O

Capela got exposed he likes to switch when not needed and I didn’t even notice the one that Kobe mentioned but thinking about it yea Capela tends to run without looking at the ball.

Also not a big deal Utah won’t shoot like this next games ;3

It's a big deal. And we played most of this game (save the third quarter) like it wasn't. Like they were just going to give us the game. They're hungry and fearless and well coached. That's a scary combination. The thing that concerns me isn't our talent, it's our attitude. No killer instinct. Brutal game to watch

This game was frustrating as hell, but I'm excited to see the mental fortitude of this team. Win a game or two in hostile Utah.

With all due respect, thinking this loss is no big deal is EXACTLY the mindset that set up the loss in the first place.

With this team, playing in a hostile crowd will probably be a good thing. We’ll certainly have more energy to start than we did tonight.

Also never play anderson again. The dude is clinically depressed on the court, soured the mood of the whole team. I suspect he has major depressive disorder, hard to overcome your fiancee committing suicide even after you’ve married someone else.

We spent the entire game worrying about getting calls from the refs because they were being aggressive. We need to be aggressive right back. And commit to switching. Capela seemed lost on the pick and roll.

This year’s Jazz are no joke. It sucks we lost to them tonight, and I am not ready to relive 1997 thank you all very much.

The best part of the playoffs is that I can ignore them for the next two weeks and the outcomes are exactly the same. That’s what I recommend for anyone who does not need the added stress of the Rockets ******** the bed like they did tonight.

Wake up call! Your not on that level yet to start games off careless then just turn in on and beat a team like Utah. Well deserved loss. Wake the f up.

I'm totally fine with this loss.

We fought and clawed our way back into this game. Even at the end, I thought we might pull the huge comeback, but Gordon and Tucker couldn't make a shot. That being said, D'Antoni will light a fire under them and we will be ready.

This was the best performance by the Jazz all playoffs. Ingles won't get that many open looks again and Crowder is not built to shoot contested threes.

Playoffs are about adjustments. Jazz made theirs tonight. Now it's the Rockets turn.

Night fellas. Hold in there until Friday. The crybabies and Max Kellerman hot take threads are coming!

Not only that Scotty Pippen was on the Jump telling the Jazz what to do to stop the Rockets. It fells like everyone on earth was giving Utah scouting tips. I never see that with GSW. NEVER

So I'd be thankful for some insight, because I sadly missed the game and now am staring in disbelief at box score, trying to figure out what the hell went wrong.

Ok, so Utah hit 5 threes more than us. That's 15 points. BUT!

    Steals 10-4 in our favour
    TOs 7-16 in our favour
Total RB 50 - 48 in our favour
Off RB 11 - 5 in our favour
Hit FTs 22 - 15 in our favour
FG attempts 95 - 84 in our favour
Blocked shots 7-5 in our favour
We shot 48% as a team on 2 pointers VS 51% for UTA (negligible difference)

WTH went WRONG? Our players casually chucking 3s instead of going to the hole and getting opponents in foul trouble is the only thing I can think about. Well, and horrible defense on Ingles.

Joe Ingles is one of the best shooters in the league.

Had this been Game 3, while being up 2.. I might possibly kinda agree. But, we just lost home court. We have been playing soooooo lackadaisical, and our shots haven't been falling, sans one quarter.

I think they will regroup and get it together, but we can't win ANYTHING playing like this. Everyone looked at our record vs. them, but then Kobe dropped the keys to beating us lmao.

It might not be a big deal, it all depends on how the team responds to looking like a complete joke at home by not showing up to play. If they bounce back and learn that they actually have to try in the playoffs, it's no big deal, if they keep doing what they have been doing....well they probably still beat the Jazz but they set themselves up to be swept by the Warriors.

I'm sure this is EXACTLY what the OKC loyalists were saying after game 2 at OKC.
