    I had a good Christmas.

    I got:

    A leather jacket-very much needed
Another Alum ring from Tech.-My original was stolen in '98.
    A suitcase-again... much needed
And tickets to the Houston Bowl.

    I'm happy.

    I got **** this year.

The best ever gift i got was a calender. Yes, a calender.

It was an Anna Kournikova calender. I still have it, and it is unopen, and still in mint condition.

    A Simpsons chess set

Mattress with sheets and everything. ( I ended up buying my mom a mattress too.)

    Some clothes

    Candy

My Grandmother gave me an eye patch and a pirate hat. Then she made me put it on and say, "Arhg!"(sp?), before she gave me another gift. The last one was a cool little, wooden treasure chest filled with gold dollars. She said she was wanting to bury it out side somewhere and make me dig it up. I kind of wish she did, that would have been fun. :D

I got two tickets to the Rockets game on December 31st against the Philadelphia 76ers. My first game to attend this season, and probably my last since I come to Houston only for holidays. Hopefully the Rockets can shut down Iverson again and pull out a win.

It was just me and my wife this year. We couldn't go out of town, and none of our family live here. So we just bought for one another. For me, it was the year of software.

    Microsoft Office 2003 (Small Business)

Paint Shop Pro 8 (Not a big graphics person, so I don't need Photoshop. Paint Shop Pro does more than enough for me, so I couldn't justify laying down several hundred on Photoshop, especially since I'd probably use once or twice a month. And my wife wouldn't have bought it for me anyway.)

Logos Bible Software (More accurately, more Logos Bible software. It's what I use already. I got the equivalent of about $3000 in books (if I were to go to the bookstore and pick them off the shelf), although it didn't cost anywhere near that much. Since I'm a preacher, this will come in really handy. I speak four times a week, so I can always use new ideas, etc.)

Chainsaw (to saw my computer in half when my new software messes everything up :) )

Cologne (Don't remember what it's called at the moment, but my wife always does a great job picking out different kinds that I like. That way there's at least one sense in which I don't stink on Sunday. :) )
