If it wasn't for the historic pitching the team would just be okay. The team has had a few blowouts but for the most part, the only great hitters on the club right now are Correa and Altuve. Everyone else is performing below ideal.

Because of a few blowouts. That's skewed the numbers. The offense has been disappointing often this year though.

 

If we don't win this game it will be the most disappointing loss of the year.

He's been watching too many Gattis ABs. Watch first pitch strike go by. Check swing at shitty pitch in the dirt. Either a strikeout or futile pop fly guessing on a subsequent 3rd or 4th pitch. Go sit in the dug out.

I know the date it's still frustrating to watch while it's going on. The team is not depending on elite pitching. They're depending on historic pitching right now. Just a tough watch on nights like tonight. They're not facing pitching staffs like their own early on or anything.

 

Scored 5 or more in 15 games out of 30. Yep, that's textbook skewed.
