Lucky. Why can’t anybody throw some pizza my way when I go to games. Them muhfuggin slices are expensive.
Utah is a weird, weird place. I wish I could hate these Jazz players more though. They're just not as fun to hate as the old ones, who defined hateable for me.
For those of you who would call the Utah fan base racist, a lot of people in the NE might say the same thing about any southern city including Houston. Hate the team, not the fans
I dont like generalizing other fanbases. Im sure you can find examples of any fanbases, including fans of the rockets, saying ignorant and offensive bs
People defending the Utah fan base are obviously too young to remember the crap we put up with in the 90’s. I’m sure @Clutch and @tinman remember
The population of Salt Lake City is 2% black. Even if we allow that all teams have the same number of racist fans, the fact that there are no black faces in the arena emboldens Utah's racists in a way that isn't possible in the arena of a southern city like Houston.
here's his latest. pretty sweet, from about 18 hours ago. complex lyrics. probably deserves its own thread
This is one of the most ignorant and racist comments I have ever read. So "black" is the only other non-white race that matters? Here is the demographic info: At the 2010 census, Salt Lake City's population was 75.1% White, 2.6% African American, 1.2% American Indian and Alaska Native, 4.4% Asian, 2.0% Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander, 10.7% from other races and 3.7% of mixed descent. 22.3% of the total population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
lol wut Not only that, but using demographic stats to prove racism is just irrelevant. No logical argument can be made there. People are also probably unaware that Mormon guys (and sometimes girls) typically go on 2 year cultural immersion missions to foreign areas and the amount of bilingual people per capita in Utah is probably higher than any other state. I myself served in a heavily African area of Brazil. (I'm from Houston, but live in Utah now for school.) My district has a black congresswoman... Without touching the "racist" subject, fun fact: Trump only got 45% of the vote in Utah in 2016. In the Republican primary? Trump got 14%. Read here for more on why. [Hint, demographics of the total worldwide church and appreciation of immigrants is a key reason.] Stereotypes are alluring but they can't be taken as fact. This being said, I hate Jazz fans and I don't think the crazy fans that yell dumb things can be extrapolated to a total population. Alright, peace out.
I hate Jazz because Stockton. Racism is everywhere just like a few bad cops, or a bad apple in a box of many. It won't change until end of civilization.
