That’s what I mentioned during the game thread. You can sense the anxiety. There are great Rockets fans but they’re not a rowdy crowd. They have a more cautious, nervous excitement about them. Especially the way the Rockets have been starting games which haven’t been good.......They’ve been here before. The Rockets have been in the playoffs a lot only to get kicked out in the first or second round. The fans support the team and are hoping for the best, but the lack of success since the 90’s produces a jaded crowd.

On a side note, they are a lot of transplants in Houston. The fourth largest city in the country getting bigger and bigger......You drive around town and you see so many different license plates. So there’s probably a lot of “casual” Rockets fans instead of true Houstonians who are Rockets fans....Just my two cents. :)

These Jazz fans wearing tha f— out of those yellow t shirts. No fans wearing Texans gear who need to get slapped across the face.

They must have been stopped at the gate. Only yellow allowed.

As much as I hate the Jazz, they have great fans. They’re so loud, rowdy, and passionate. That’s a hostile environment to play.

the New Orleans crowd was far better than ours in the 1st round...our crowd was competing with Miami and Washington for the worst crowd in the playoffs, and I’ll say that ours has been the worst in these playoffs because we have a 65 win team with 2 superstars and Miami and Washington are both mediocre

Just accept that we don’t have a great, rowdy crowd. Neither do the Lakers and no one gives a ****. I’m a UT alum and we don’t have great crowds for either football or basketball. It’s a Texas thing in my opinion.

This is actually sad as ****. Wow, especially after Warriors fans blew the roof off their stadium last night.

We’re up 15-20 and crowd seems bored, guess it kind off makes sense. They make noise when they need to.

Thumbs up to the marketing team for disguising all the empty seats with those red t-shirts.

I wouldn't care if we didn't have a historic team and it didn't help them.

Team showing up and doing its job, TC does too. They feed off the crowd's energy.

surprise...even more empty seats. The fans in the upper bowl should take them. Their voices will be louder closer to the arena

I wish this would happen. If you aren't in your seat by halftime, you lose it.

Revamp and bring the rowdies back to the front.

In Minnesota. Then again, I'm not complaining about the crowd.
