Initial thought is of course. Trump does exactly what he claims others are doing. I would like to see all these applications or at least Congress should review them for abuse.
Trump is trying as hard as he can to be a dictator. He's trying very hard, and it doesn't seem to be working out very well for him. The odd thing is supporters don't mind at all.
I wonder how it plays out in their minds when they trash the FISA court and then hear that he tried to abuse it? Actually, I know. This is just more proof of the deep state. The judges on the FISA court are part of the conspiracy.
You're right, just read some of the comments from the article. "Or it could mean that this administration actually tells the truth when seeking warrants, or that FISA judges are corrupt and are attempting to undermine the current administration. Considering the corruption we are seeing bubbling up in State, Intelligence and Justice right now, I would not dismiss a group of political hack FISA judges denying legitimate requests simply because they want Trump out of office."
The AG office, the US attorneys office, the FBI, the FISA judges, the state department, the federal judges in NY, Mexican judges in general... PLUS the media, colleges, scientists... PLUS all democrats and basically every government in the world... The conspiracy against Donald Trump runs deep. FFS
It's no longer odd. His core supporters simply don't care. I don't even think catching him red handed would matter that much. It must be hard though, for libertarian that support him to see this stuff.
How is he trying to be a dictator by going through proper channels? And spare me the supporter nonsense.
No. He's going through proper channels because he doesn't have a choice. He's trying to be a dictator by trying to spy on people without proper cause or evidence to do so. That is the why said it in this case. His frequent diatribes against the rule of law is another way in which he is trying to be a dictator. His expressed desire to have the United States Justice Department act as his own personal legal team and express displeasure when it does not act in that manner is another way in which Trump is trying to be a dictator. Trump's expressed admiration of dictators around the world is yet another piece that adds to the idea that he wishes he was a dictator. His frequent and flagrant lies about his own popularity are yet other ways in which his behavior is like that of authoritarian banana dictators. His use of personal bodyguards to deliver official documents might also fall under the realm of a would-be dictator. Those are just the ones off the top of my head.
