If Cp3 becomes to expensive in free-agency.. how about signing Derrick Rose for the mle

CP3 isn't going anywhere. He didn't come here to play just 1 season. Even if we lose in the conference finals he would stay and we'll re-sign him. In the unlikely event that Morey and CP3 can't come to terms. (not gonna happen) D Rose is not a starting PG on any team at this point.

Rose is playing well because we aren’t focusing on him. We are focusing on Butler, KAT, Teague, and Wiggins forcing them to run through Rose more. Him playing well is more of a product of our defense doing what they are setting out to do rather than Rose having a resurgence. He’s still on his way to China.

 

With Rose on this team we'd run train on the league.

Paul George is as good as gone in OKC, tbh I dont want to pay Cp3 the max considering he will already be 33 yrs old next year when we sign his deal so why not PG13? At least he is close to Harden's age so they can grow old together.

Harden can revert back to being the pg and with Paul and Ariza on the wing, Luc at PF and Capela at C our starting 5's D will be insane.

 

I would not mind Rose as a cheap backup to CP3. CP3 may take a pay cut to add another piece in Houston in my opinion( Lebron or PG13). Look to add another big( a 5/4)to complement Capela, Ryan. Someone who can give us an impact like Nene did last season.
A backup shooter should also be targeted if cap room permits.
