My sob story. Leaving work around 7:10 pm. Select the Rockets app to listen to the game on the way home. Excited, even giddy with the competitive Basketball I am hearing on the Bluetooth stream on the passage home, never doubting the inevitable victory. Alas, still wanting to listen on the ride home so I can read the terrible Max Kellerman Threads that bandwagon fans will inevitably flood the board within 5 hours. Pulling up to CourtOfDreams Manor, smelling the freshly cut grass on the property as I walk to the front door. Rockets up 3 or so with 1 min left in the 2nd as I open the door to my house. Mrs. CourtOfDreams tried to have the game ready when I walked in. I recently got the DirectTvNow with an Apple 4K so I am streaming only. Up unto this point, DirectTv Now via Apple TV has had the Heart Of Champion. But alas, I was not meant to see Houston History. The Direct Tv Now app had a server failure. Thinking, of course, as any Houstonian, Comcast had ****ed me, I called, I waited, I reset the router. It was the Direct Tv Now app my friends. I had to pull out one of the many older Apple iPads I had in a drawer and begin the Reddit Streams. To my chagrin, we were up by 30! I had only missed one quarter! As I begrudgingly ate my brown buttered sea scallops with a celeriac puree, ramps, and bacon lardons. I had to hear about how we had scored the 2nd most points in NBA history in a quarter all through the rest of the game. If it wasn't for the fact that scallops were cooked perfectly, it would have been a very hard meal to swallow. I missed out on history.
Damn. I never seen anything like this in my life time. 50 point quarter...50 freaking points in 12 minutes...still can't believe it. Go Rockets
You blew it by not turning on the radio. My DirecTV fails during to weather at times and my 1995 alarm clock radio always comes through.
we were at 40 with 2:30 ish left.... I wanted that 50 point quarter bad..... what was better was hearing everyone say the rockets were in trouble and have to look silly after the game.....lol
