The Oilers left traces of the plague here and it has now affected the Rockets, starting with Shandon Anderson, Glenn Rice, Jim Jackson, Kelvin Cato, Piatowski, etc

Yes, but then we gave Cato $8million a year for 6 years and in that move lies the Rockets' folly with regards to Cato. Then we tried to trade him and as one might predict, no one would take Cato on with that ridiculous contract.
cato was signed at 7 million per year for 6 years...now half of the nba would take him w/ his contract....

for all of those reasons, we must trade cato while he is worth something. he is ding a great job, sure, but he won't be hard to replace.
